Greeting my fellow pod pilots. I am not sure where to post this due to the fact I am not looking to be recruited or not looking for mission/complex advice.

I am coming back from a 2 month break from Eve and I would like to get back into running incursions. I use to run them long ago in a galaxy not to far away. I know Incursions went through a somewhat drastic change. But never the less I would like to start back up. I still have my shield tanked Vindi or my armor tanked Mach.

I have seen the post in this forum for the list of groups that run these and the list looks kinda old. Update maybe?

The reason I am asking is that I am at work as I am typing this. When I get off and get home the server is coming back up from down time. I can clone jump to either my Mach or my Vindi. I honestly don't know which one is prefered let alone if the fits I have are still good or not. I can play for about 5 hrs a day and I CAN NOT go into Amarr Space what so ever. My standing with them is non-repairable and that's the way I like it Twisted

So I am just trying to get a head start before I get home from work so that I have a plan layed out and get the ball rolling right when I get home.

Whilst in-game join the chat channel 'incursion public' it'll have a list of most known incursion groups and clickable links to join the different them. It's normally actively updated for new groups / old groups dying out.

There happen to be more shield groups than armour ones so shield may have your best chance of getting into a fleet.

Regarding the Amarr thing, that could be tough with amarr having the most space stastically they would then have the most incursion spawns. However at the moment there happens to be one amarr and one gallente.

The 'start here' thread really could do with a tidy up. If not in-game I'll just mail you with some of the active groups.

I updated the list this morning after logging into each channel and asking about their activity or checking their MOTD to see if they were current.

Hope that helps some, I try to stay on top of it but when a community fizzles out they usually don't let me know so I have to wait for word of mouth to get back to me.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

While there is more choice with shield groups and a lot more HQ fleets, there is also more interest, what can mean longer wait lists more picky FCs, however since armor incursion most of the time only covers 1-2 Incs of 3 up at max and you can't fly in space where the most spawn(amarr space) it might be a problem. From my experience I can be on grid in armor a bit quicker most of the time, but the main deal is the ability to fly both dps and logi and have this ships ready, what will shorten your time on wait lists to a minimum.

That is a very good point, a lot of Incs will spawn in Amarr space and if there is one up there, it is mostly a lot heavier populated than the other ones(what can be good or bad, depending on what you look for and your will to switch ships and fittings around).

Amarr standing can be repaired with cosmos, tags or by putting some SP into social skills and blitzing L1s for storyline missions, so if you really want to fly Incs a lot, you should consider repairing your standings with Amarr at least to under -5, what can be done in a week at max, 2-3 days with good social skills and a good L1 blitzing ship.

Thank you all once again. I jumped in the TVP channel and to my surprise. there was like 250+ people in there 45 mins after the server came up. The bad thing is that there was to much talking in the channel and it made it difficult to get into a group. Which by the way I was not able to run a single incursion today. Sad So I went and ran some lvl 4 Sisters of Eve missions.

I was seeing all these fits everyone was posting in the channel and those fits made my bling bling fit look so poor. Ugh So I am sure I have a few tweeks I may need to do.

But you guys are awesome for helping me with the info. I will still keep trying. My social skills are maxed I believe. I may have to get 1 or 2 to lvl 5.

You do get the odd incursion in Khanid or Ammatar space which is sort of Amarr but not really.

You need to stay in the channel until the FC calls for everyone to x up at the line
