EVEMon lists my Drone Avionics at 4. Is this a display issue in game, or an API issue? I do not remember what my Drone Avionics skill was before this mess. Thanks to anyone for their help!! ~ HK

(Which is anyone who didn't have Combat Drone Operation to V prior to Kronus) The issue is anyone who got a GM gift has two copies of Drone Avionics, which causes the game to have a fit.

Well after a socket error and logging back in, I have Drone Avionics 4 now. Never thought I would had it trained to 5 yet anyway. The only drone skills I really trained were just for T2 medium and lites.

Also, I do have the GM gift skill, but only one copy of Drone Avionics. Everything seems fine to me (unless I actually did have Drone Avionics to 5, but meh, only a 3 day skill anyway).

I'm not looking for a release of a new patch. This is something that CCP broke, themselves, almost a week ago and it's grounded drone players that aren't brawlers. We've had 3 patch release updates since then and still no word on fixing this. I can only imagine the uproar had gunnery range been broken, or missiles. Having to wait two weeks for CCP to fix something they have completely broke is pretty unfair for the player base.

I too had a level 3 version of the book "gifted" to me, however every-time I login it either shows my original skill (at 5) or the copy. Curiously, I think they happen to be working in tandem; even though I had to down-grade 2 DLA's from t2->1, I gained an extra 7km on control range... which, if my maths adds up, is the same as an extra 15 minus the 8 lost from down-graded DLA's.

It barely affects me that much, as my wardens start to miss up above 95+ anyway, but if someone had the same issue as me and happened to start exploiting that in PvP, I reckon CCP would move this up the priority order a couple of notches.

while op is exagerating about how big a damage he's took from this debacle (you lose 8 km range with two dla ) your trollish solution remain trollish: drones are an extremely sp intensive weapon, the most sp intensive there it is - so most pilot wihich specialize in drones for at least the first year cant be effective in anything else.
so what, stay docked for the couple of months needed to train another weapon to t2?

Some people use sentry drones, some people use other sentries than Gardes. Some people therefor utilize their drones beyond 60km probably beyond 100km+, some people aren´t quite as clueless and KNOW that!

If CCP breaks something for no reason and drags their feet in fixing it people have all the right to complain. If it was something that directly involved all the mouth breathers in the various threads concerning the DLA the river of tears would flood the forums.

But hey if it doesn´t concerns one self, lets shiat poast and be smug about it.
