So I was going to set an Invention job on my personal POS..
And surprisingly I can't, because I don't have the proper roles (wallet accountant)

Is there any option or chance to switch the payment of the job? so I can pay with my wallet
instead with the corporation ones.

In a large corp, it's hard to trust everyone, and obviously you can't let the corp wealth in hands of everyone,
hope that someone can tell me something about this trouble.

Same issues I've had, needs to be so people can pay from their own wallet even if it requires a check box that says pay from own wallet.

There is no such thing as a personal POS.. POS' are corp assets and what you install is a *corporation* job, therefor you pay it with your corp wallet.
Don't you guys have something like a wallet for members? That's always empty and whenever someone needs to install something like a corp manufacturing job he throws his money in there and starts the job. Since a corporation has 7 wallet divisions, it can't be too hard to convince your CEO to set that up.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

You would have needed to have access to a wallet pre-patch (probably like Division 7), even if the costs to install a job were zero.


1. Put install money into that wallet
2. Install job
3. Gripe about paying the NPC G-Man for using a POS.

I know that poses are corp assets, but seriously, many alliances allow members to have personal poses, because the bonus of the modules or for reactions, especially with the Crius release :D
I think that adding the option of pay with your own wallet is not a big deal for CCP engineers

Anyway, yesterday had the same idea and asked the CEO for it, waiting response and a new corp wallet ;)

CCP has acknowledged this and they are adding a "pay from personal wallet" option. Not exactly sure when but they are.

I think this is the issue. The POS code is old (circa 1 zillion BC) and it is a big deal for CCP engineers. Over the years CCP has avoided touching that code as much as possible, only fixes and small changes has been made here and there. Rewrite needed, sooner rather than later.

Gripe... Gripe... Gripe...

It used to be free to set up jobs in the labs if the corp had not set any price for using the labs. We already pay for the fuel, shouldnt be necessary to pay for actually using the labs as well. If there is any payment is should be to the corp from members own wallet, if the corp wants to set it like that.
