Flashing Watchlist

When a targeted ship is destroyed, the picture flashes to make it clear that it was destroyed instead of warping away or losing lock.

I request that this feature be extended to the watchlist. That ought to make it clear that the player was destroyed rather than repped up.

Failing this, some way of differentiating between ships and capsules on the watchlist would be great.

How about... Removing the watch list altogether?

Which watchlist are we talking about ?

If its the fleet one, it has some uses, and removing it would diminish playability. Id rather see more options, like drag and drop drones for assist etc, not this clickfest dropdown crap.

And not sure why it matters if a pod is on it .. I am sure if it catches damage it will 100% be to late to lock it and rep it. And if you pre lock it, you see that its a capsule.

And about the other watchlist, I think there is a thread out there.

No, as this would make coordinating during a fleet even more of a constant battle with bad UI, which is never good. Removing the free information on watchlisted ships' shields/armor/hull, however, would be fine.

That said, anything that processes existing information more efficiently is good. Warp/destruction distinction for ships leaving grid would qualify (although I've never longed for such a feature), as would be displaying ship type and, if we removed the health bars, a flashing background tied to the ship's broadcasts.

The Fleet Watchlist is a critical tool of a logistic pilots fleet management. The list is already limited to 15 ships which is fine.

Having the watchlist change when ships are destroyed would be fantastic.
