I needed to make some changes to the original post and also wanted to provide an update of my stats from working 'The Plan' which I'll post tomorrow.

Also in the future I'll try to keep track of the 3 month thread timer.

It's been a while since I last posted an update of my stats.

I've mainly been doing exploration and running the Empire Epic Arcs every 3 months. I haven't done any other Event Agents because I'm actually trying to build up a standing buffer with the 4 main Empire Factions in order to run the level 3 Pirate Epic Arcs along with the Pirate Cosmos Agents.

Currently I'm running the Empire Epic Arcs and will post my updated stats once again after completing them.

Anyway, current stats :

Chapter 1 - The Passage seems to have no standing loss even if you kill the Amarr
Chapter 2 - Songs of the Past has no standing loss
Chapter 3 has potential standing losses in Mission 1 and Mission 2

Mission 1 - Church of the Obsidian
Defenders at the gate will scram you and prevent you using it so MJD away from the gate and draw defences away from it but do not shoot them, then once they are well clear of gate MJD back to gate and go through.
Once you are in the pocket AB/MWD to can and grab mission objective and warp out.

Mission 2 - Heresiology
You need to use an analyser on a series of cans.
If you warp straight in you will be tanking heavy incoming damage which may be possible in a marauder? but not in a BS.
In a BS you need to MJD away and draw the defenders after you (do not shoot) and then go back and use your analyser. You may need to repeat this process a few times if the defenders return too quickly.

(alternatively a corpmate/alt in a second ship could be used to draw them away instead)

Hey DMC,

according to our mails from yesterday i decided to run "The Plan" to repair my negative faction standing against Caldari / Amarr for maintaining a proper standing which allow me run Lvl 4´s for whomever i want to.

I started, like mentioned in your plan and your mails, the career agents with the faction i have the badest standing; Caldari in my case.

After i´ve done now my first round (of 3) of the first 5 career agents my standing against Caldari / Amarr raised significantly towards positive ... but also my Gallente standing dropped from 5,09 to 4,56 ... so i "lost" the avaiablity of all lvl 4 Gallente agents (except the corporations i have 5+)

Now i´m unsure what´s the next step would be the better.

1. Finish the career agents, circle agents and data centers lvl 1 for Caldari and after that for Amarr?
or
2. Switch over to Gallente and/or Minmatar before running Caldari / Amarr again?

Any hints?

You're supposed to bounce back and forth doing higher and higher level agents in the plan until everybody is positive and you're happy with the results. You CAN get everyone above 5.0 but its very time consuming and completely unnecessary. Just keep 2 of them 'good' and keep whoever you like best above 5.0.

And avoid missions where you shoot empire. Those missions are for people who don't mind empires hating them.

Yeah, the standings are gonna do a See-Saw action while working 'The Plan'.

Since you already have high Faction standing with Gallente Corporations, you can easily do level 4 missions for them as long as their Faction remains above -2.00 standing. If you want to access high level agents without building up high Faction standings, then you're gonna have to build up Corporation standings with the other Factions. As long as you maintain all of the Empire Factions above -2.00 standing, you'll be able to access their high level agents.

I can guarantee if you follow all the steps listed in 'The Plan' and complete all the Event Agents Level 3 and lower, you will be above +6.00 standing. Unfortunately that will take some time to complete and nobody can give a definite answer on how long that will take. Over the past couple of years I have basically done every step of 'The Plan' and my standings are well over +7.00 with the 4 main Empire Factions. During that period I spent half of the time working on standings and the other half doing exploration.

Now if you want to have high Faction standings like mine, then I suggest you continue following the steps listed in 'The Plan' and when all 4 Empire Faction standings equalize, you can then raise them all equally by 'bouncing' between the various Factions when needed by working their Event Agents.

Remember to keep watch on your standings and 'bounce' over to another Faction as needed to equally raise all the Faction standings.

For a short cut, bypass the Cosmos Agents for now and just concentrate on working the Career, Circle and Data Center Agents till the Faction standings equalize. Since you already had high standings with Gallente, you probably won't have to complete all of their Event Agents in order to maintain equal standings with the other Empire Factions. After you've completed most of the Career, Circle and Data Center Event Agents and have raised the 4 main Factions equally, you'll have a much better idea of what steps are needed to complete your goal.

Yeah, also the Cosmos Agents as well.

The Epic Arc Agents can be completed every 3 months for a large positive Faction standing increase with little to no negative standing incurred.
