Already have a pvp toon but need thoughts on what a 2nd toon would be good for. Currently just training core skills.

Scamming. It's actually a great secondary source of income.

Same account or a second one?

Industry.

One generates the ISK. One destroys it.

My second toon is a "Hoarder"... collects frozen corpses and other seemingly uselss "stuff" that other people throw away.

And people throw away ALOT of valuable stuff without a second thought. The impatience and lack of foresight from thousands of pilots have made for a wallet with ALOT of numbers in the "Balance" column over the years.

And the irony, is you only need a basic probe ship and a grasp of how to properly tweak that OVERVIEW. Biggest ISK maker in EVE... if you have patience (PS: Can't be trained). P

Same as the first toon.

It's the second, third, fourth, fifth (etc.) toons that are skilled differently.

Are you specifically reffering to my second character, or my 17th character on my 9th account?

My shadow follows me around. His purpose in life is to make mine easier. He's about a month younger.

Example [in approximate order of training]:
* Hauling [All Industrials, Caldari Transports.]
* Salvaging.
* Trade.
* Research & Manufacturing.
* PI.
* Fleet Boosting.
* Capitals (Orca, Rorqual, All Freighters, All Jump Freighters, All Carriers).
* Archeology & Hacking.
* POS Gunner.
* Repping.
* Additional DPS (drones specialist)
* Covert Bridging.
* Reprocessing (ore, ice, scrap).

Skills that I didn't want to be arsed training on my main - freighters, jump freighters, cynos, trade, manufacturing, OGB, and they are all trained in PI for the ISK.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

I'm sorry to say that my second character managed to fail focusing on anything specific. Despite my express wishes for it to do so. The same goes for this one and all the rest. I've therefor decided the words "main" and "alt" are too much of a title for any of them.
The original plan was to be a hauler tho. If I ever find myself in a barge again, I'm sure it (or its "siblings") will happily replace a jetcan.

My main is a dedicated frigate pilot. I love zooming around in fast frigates.

When I started training a second char, I thought I would try going for some bigger ships. But in the end it turns out that it was really useful to have a secondary character in fast frigates hanging out on the other side of the galaxy, so now I have two specialized frigate pilots.

Finally, I began making an alt that I wanted to dedicate to a bit of light PVP, and finally I was able to train for something bigger to fly in gangs.

Or so I thought. Turns out I had stumbled into a bit of FW in which the norm was fast frigate fleets. Roll
