"End of The World" predictions do nothing but cause emotional strife.

Keep playing EVE, keep telling people about EVE, keep bashing the crap out of each other in EVE.

End of EVE?... yeah that would be disappointing, but it hasn't happened.

Anyway, to base any assumptions of the health of the game on how many times "EVE is dying" is being said is ridiculous by itself. More often than not, the phrase is used as sarcasm and will be interpreted wrongly by any automated statistics system
Would still be obviously working as intended.

There's so much poking (indirect) of me in this thread I don't know what's going on - but if there's request for data that I have, feel free to do so, a bit more specified as to what data you wish to see and I will do my best to provide it.

Hey thanks for kindly appearing, Your Veldsparness!

Would it be possible to know how many times the phrase 'EVE is dying' was written on the EVE-O forums, for as far back in time as you can go, with monthly (or weekly or daily, whatever is easier) totals?

Something like:

June 2014 - 502 times
May 2014 - 657 times
April 2014 - 432 times
...
...

etc?

Chribba, what's your favourite eve stat (or grouping of them), and dont copout with "all of them",
are any of them particularly intriguing for you?

Eve is the ultimate undead creature which can never die and feasts upon both the free time and relationships of the living.

Well, I do absolutely love the player numbers. But I am particularly fond of the Jita-spam-bots numbers (or the numbers before CCP started to take action, haven't done any checks in a few months now).

Would call this one the first one ever - http://eve-search.com/thread/24103-0#16 (post 16)

I'm also eating atm and, while I do have some excel-fu, I have no idea how to share the results... :(

But I'll do my best, if anyone beats me to it it's fine with me.

I'll give a first comment: EVE is dying since 2008, apparently, NOT since 2003!

Incarna.

I vote for a Chribbometer, which calculates the likelihood of Chribba appearing in a thread after his name has been mentioned.

Nice.

How about a name for a graph that Gully makes and Chribba supplies the Data for?

The likelihood of me appearing in a thread increases by 1 simply by mentioning my name Smile

Ok, what did CCP screw up in late '10? Was that Incarna?

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Huh. When was monocle gate?
Edit
That wasn't until 2011, according to Google.
