Remote Warp Core Stabs (RWCS)

Why is this module a good idea? Because I want to see people escorting freighters and other high value targets through lowsec.

Suggested stats
Arrow Penalty: -20% to targeting range and scan res on ship that has module fitted
Arrow + 0.5 warp strength for target spaceship

Number of RWCS modules required to overcome...
Arrow Warp Disruptor: 2
Arrow Warp Scrambler: 4
Arrow Faction Warp Scrambler: 6

this would be an interesting idea but your implementation of its stats could use some work.

the 20% penalty to targeting range seem a bit extreme and could lead to this mod almost never being used

+.5 to warp core is only viable if a skill goes with it to improve its affect over the local one as for the most part remote modals are designed to be more powerful then locally fitted variants

as for this being used to escort freighters for one you use JFs in low or your probably going to lose it for the most part when your trying to take out a freighter that has escorts your points are on the escorts if you don't have enough to go around then you just bump the freighter to keep it out of alignment

i think its a bad idea simply because i can be abused to let an expensive ratting ship escape with some cheap friggs that sacrifices themselves (alts and or corp members) and the ratting ship would not have any of the negative effects as normal warpcore stabs would give him.

Interesting Idea, not implement-able as it stands now, but worth discussing and playing around a bit with that concept. Gonna check in again.

Ehm, any ship ratting to make isk wastes pilots to make said isk in your case. why would a ship rat in low with a 3 frig escort, if 4 full ships could rat and run missions or incursion in high sec ... that logic doesn't make sense. A ratter having a few disposable frigs on standbye is a ludicrous concept of making good isk and defeats the purpose of going to low in such a ship. Think before posting.

Typical canon fodder thoughts. Perhaps the OP likes having frigate escorts. The frigate escort would be perfect to protect the main ratting ship from PvP'ers especially if the frigates are Assault Frigates or Stealth Bombers that can tackle and bomb the PvP'ers allowing the more expensive ratting ship to escape.

Good idea OP - Any idea that implements more modules for the manufacturing purposes is always welcome.

take it a step further don't just use them to protect ratting ships and use the frigs to buy time use this for getting a nice shiny bait ship out. who can resist a nice faction BS ratting in low they warp up start scramming it frigs uncloak/warp in some point the aggressor others boost the BS.

another mod that could be implemented with this is a low slot hat boosts scram power but lowers the range of the point

then all of a sudden your frigs don't have enough to save the BS and some of the aggressors friends pop up now you may have just lost your support ships and the BS either way a good fight will be had
