Hello my fellow, pod-lings and thank you for your time. In the past year P.L.E.X prices have risen to an unbelievable 820 million I.S.K , not a small amount for EVE those of us that run incursions or those who null sec about in EVE. so here is my suggestion and request i want C.C.P to sell and regulate the price of p.l.e.x in EVE online by selling it in stations through N.P.C spawn like skill books, i ask they lower the price to nice 500 million I.S.K and leave it there, this I believe would help everyone in EVE as well as benefit C.C.P keeping people in game and bringing those that have left back into the fold. I have created a petition which I will post below I ask that as many people, who read this sign this petition and in doing so would show C.C.P that it's that we all want. We have a voice my friend's whether your a null sec pirate or a high sec care bear or anywhere in between I ask that you stand up for your EVE futures and make this change happen. Thanks for reading.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Did you really start a change.org petition to make your video game more accommodating to your playstyle?....

I've seen some real first world problems put on that website, but this has to top all of them... Roll

No PLEX is set by the players it is going up do to the added number of players in eve running missions and incursions printing isk into the game CCP will not sell PLEX via NPC because it is how they make money. PLEX is not a way for you to play the game for free it is a way for you to trade in game items for some one else to pay for your acc.

So, you want CCP to provide isk through an NPC retailer at a set amount, (500m isk as you already stated,) to create a stable supply for players who don't want to pay for their accounts with real money.

That would mean that anyone who bought one with real money would be forced to compete with those NPC's and would have to sell them at a considerably reduced price, (because they would be competing against all he other players who are also trying to sell theirs.)

The only way this could work would be if you also created NPC buy orders for PLEX at a set price below that of the NPC sell orders. This would create a completely stable environment for the sale and purchase of PLEX.

It is also completely against the entire principle of a player driven market.

And just to point out a few of things:

1 - The supply of PLEX has not reduced, it has remained steady. They are being hoarded by speculators which is artificially inflating the price - (as per the information provided by CCP at fanfest in the economic keynote.)

2 - While high plex prices are terrible for people that want to use them in place of real money subscriptions, they are awsome for people who want to buy them with real money to excahnge for isk. You wouldn't be complaining that the price of plex was too low if they were close to 150m isk would you? I thought not, so that would make your argument pretty hypocritical.

3 - The price of PLEX on the Chinese server is in excess of 3b isk, so I suggest you 'suck it up' and run a few more anoms/incursions. With 2 accounts, it currently takes 1.64b isk to plex both accounts. With those same two accounts, it takes less than 19 hours to make enough isk running null anoms in a couple of T2 fit T1 BS's and hoovering up the salvage and loot afterwards to afford those PLEX.

So all in all, I agree that something needs to be done about PLEX price inflation, but I totally and utterly disagree with your suggestion of how to go about it.

I would like pay only 1 IsK for Plex, if I had the choice, but NO! Its a split commodity that is being watched and regulated when needed.

Actually I am too stunned by this suggestion (and the extra step) to write anything into the report window...

.. maybe somebody else can help.

What? No.

Selling NPC generated plex would basically be the same for CCP as just handing cash from their own pockets to already isk wealthy players.

As long as PLEX remains close to $35 for 2, the in-game price is inconsequential

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

Set up a Kickstarter for $100k or so from which you plan to buy PLEXes and saturate the market with them, inflating the supply and satiating the demand, thus dropping the PLEX prices by a massive amount.

Or play the lottery. Better chance at getting the $100k together.
