We all know the colored tags in the forums and that they help to highlight certain threads/topics/posts.
Blue for Dev; Red for GM, white for ISD/CSM

But in the past tehre was also a Green tag to communicate ingame information through NPC actor posts on the forum. This helped participation & the ability to update on topics without posting a devblog for every little thing.

Example from an old thread during the Nation events (scroll down for the green tags)

The green tag helped people to check for what topics were relevant to certain events & respond to it, instead of digging through alot of non-sensical threads if you are not used trawling through certain forum subsections.

Currently, NPC actors don't get tagged at all, so when they do post, practically everyone, but the regular visitors of EvE Summit, Fiction & Live events skip them because they don't realize it isn't a player posting but a dev/gm under disguise.

Recent example (OP is a NPC Actor, no tag, so only responses is from the core RP crowd, other people who are more casually interested in lore/rp miss out)

Adding a green tag to the NPC actor would highlight it to others as wel, marking it as a piece of CCP endorsed lore. (or any other color will do as well tbh, just picked green as that was the old tag for them)

The colortag would serve to enhance what you describe, more destruction, as there's a certain crowd of PvP'ers that enjoys to do PvP for a lore-purpose.

The colortag would only be visible on the forum, and only applicable to CCP NPC actors (as it was in the past) to make them stand out more form the regular posters (currently, you cannot discern the two)

I like them also, but it's not that hard to notice when a devactor is posting.
