There will be a change in copy time in Crius:
- one (1) full-run T1 equipment BPC, e.g. a Nanofiber T1, will take aprox 18 hours in a star base in a design laboratory to finish.
- invention of T1 BPC require the BPC to be a full-run BPC (300 runs with Rubikon, 200 with Crius) to be successfull.

Prior to Crius you could get seven (7) full run T1-equipment BPC copies in 22 hours in a starbase, after Crius there will be 1 after 18 hours.

Will there be changes in the requirements for invention, e.g. no full-run copies needed?

If not, invention and T2 production of non-T2-BPOs will be slowed down drastically.

The current plan is that an invention job will only use one run from the BPC, not the entire BPC as it does now.

So if you had a 300 run BPC you could install an invention job 300 times with the same copy before it was used up. Copy time will Basicly become irrevelant.

Oh, really? That would be awesome.

... now I can plan to remove all my laboratory-POS in low-sec after the Crius patch.

So I don't have to setup multiple BPC-filled cans with alphabetical sorting to avoid the 1,000 item stack limit anymore?

The item count limit remains.

I meant because invention will not consume the entire bpc, you no longer have to create 1-run BPCs to save on copy time. Since it will only consume 1 run of the BPC, you can just work off of full-run BPCs and save a lot of space in your hangars. I really hope it will work like that!

If you want to do 10 invention jobs at a time, you are still going to need 10 BPCs. The difference is that each invention only consumes one run.

For example, if you have 10x 300-run T1 BPCs, you can invent from them all. When you deliver them, you will receive 10x 299-run T1 BPCs plus the T2 BPCs depending on your success rate.

So unless you attempt inventions one at a time, you will still need multiple cans full of BPCs waiting to be invented. But you will actually need to create more copies less often.

I am assuming that, after the patch, 1 BPC run equal 1 Invention run. Has that been confirmed and I missed it?

No. See Greyscale's sticky thread in this forum.
