Because AFK bubblecamping is bad and 0.0 needs more people, not less.

Description

Based on the tier III Interdiction Nullifier technology, this module attempts to grant the ship an immunity to non-targeted interdiction such as mobile warp disruptors and interdiction spheres at the cost of suppressing the ship's sensors and emitting a clear multispectrum signature that makes cloaking impossible.

Structure

- Structure Hitpoints: 40 HP
- Volume: 20 m3

Fitting (low slot, only one per ship)

- Powergrid Usage: 2 MW
- CPU usage: 50 tf
- Cannot be fitted to: Carrier, Dreadnought, Supercarrier, Titan

Miscellaneous

- Immunity to non-targeted interdiction
- Scan Resolution: -50%
- Signature Radius: +50%
- Cloaking Device cannot be аctivated while this module is online (gate cloaking still applies)

Skills Required

- Warp Drive Operation V

I'd say no. Nullifiction should be role specifics like T3s and cepters. If a DST got one of those fitted those would be some hard ships to take down.
I'm fine with nullifiction to be only for 2 ships.

This would make HIC's the least desirable ships in the game, and they're pretty low on the list as it is.

AFK Bubblecamping? Is this the same as AFK Cloaky camping? Pretty sure no matter what the situation is, AFK is AFK.

Are you sure you don't mean bubble camping in general? Because if someone is watching Youtube while bubble camping a gate you should by all means feel free to call in a blob to remedy the situation. Don't have a blob of your own? Get to know the neighbors and whisper in their ear whenever you notice a lazy bubble camp. They'll double check your intel and then act accordingly if easy kills are indeed available, and you've just made some quasi-friends that will at least say hello before they shoot you.

This.

I am quite sure that, should you locate an AFK bubble camp, anyone in nullsec would happily go deprive them of their ships as an object lesson to pay attention when undocked.

Also, these would become mandatory fittings on every supercapital in the game. So, double no.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

By AFK bubble camp I believe he is referring to when there is 8 or so bubbles surrounding a gate and no one in local.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I didn't think of cap/supercap when reading first so I was like, well it has a sig bloom so at least anybody at the keyboard can still lock it down but then you made me realise how broken it was.

EVEN BETTER! There is no one to shoot you, and if you are looking for someone to shoot whoever left the bubbles has conveniently helped you set up your own camp!

Having to slowboat out of the bubbles isn't something I'd call a balance issue, let alone so game-breaking that fundamental changes need to be made to warp/anti-warp mechanics.

You're still peddaling a solution looking for a problem to fix, so it's still a no from me.

Absolutely not. Interdiction Nullification is a technology derived from sleepers. As such, it should be restricted to T3s only.

CCP really passed up a great opportunity for T3 Frigates.

Lol hell no.

This game needs more ways to force a fight, not less.

He covered that actually.

I'd be ok with this going by the given description. A "chance" at immunity. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

I'm okay with a module to get your ship through anchorable bubbles as long as it takes a while to come online-say, 30 seconds. It should also cost perhaps 100MW powergrid, so that it's expensive to a cruiser, which pressures them to find alternative methods of getting out (such as MMJD, MWD, or overdrive injector). On battleships the powergrid cost wouldn't be very significant so it would mostly be a low slot alternative to the mid-slot way of getting out of bubbles: the LMJD--and this module would cost less, too! But it would activate slower. Frigates wouldn't miss not being able to fit it since they'd be out of a bubble in 30 seconds anyway.

The main reason I think it should have an activation time is because it can be fit to pretty much any ship. It shouldn't be effective at breaking through active gate camps, but could be good if you land in one in which the campers are AFK, not really ready, or just ill-prepared to take down whatever you brought. It would also help you spend less time stuck in abandoned bubbles.

NO
This is the only thing people have against the flood of Null Bears.

Also eve already has enough run away bullshit such as Warp Core stabs. Inties, Cloaks, Nullifiers.

TL'DR :

NO because of HTFU.

Not supported.

I wasn't in favour of T3 interdiction nullification and as much as I enjoy interceptors they should never have shared the technology. I'm very much of the opinion that as annoying as bubbles are they should work for everything or just scrap them altogether.
