I don't like droneboats in general, the only ones I use tend to be the arbi/ curse line.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

You maybe bought the BPC too late, I picked up mine at 250 mill which meant the ships cost well under 400 mill to make. Sell price at the time was 400 mill, its currently 470 mill.

It will take a year or more for the Rattlesnake to find its correct price level because:

- they rarely die
- new players need a lot of skills before it performs better than a much cheaper boat like the Domi
- there are years of stockpiles of BPCs and hulls that people have stockpiled when the price was low that will keep price down.

The third is the main reason. Dominix were selling below cost until very recently due to old stockpiles and Procurers still sell for well below current build cost because of the huge stockpiles that were put aside when they cost about 2-3 mill to make. The Rattlesnake is a bit similiar.


In terms of the OP comments ... the Rattlesnake no longer is good at what it used to be good at. This annoys a lot of people who like to snipe with it and pack EWAR drones as a backup, it cannot do that anymore. However the ship it has transformed into a high DPS medium range brawler role and is actually pretty good at this new role.

I know, I was hoping the price would plateau so I could at least sell at a small profit, but instead it spiked almost 80% and then dropped down to previous levels...

At least I wont have to worry about losing them in combat eh?
