Sov seciurity status based on player activity

The idea is very simple.

Right now we have SOV nullsec systems varying from 0.0 to -1.0 , and the lower sec status the better.
Because of this we have big amount of space that no one use , as they have very bad ( to high ) security status.
They are just kept to prevent any other people from obtaining space.

Some regions are being cut off from the rest by cynojamers , and endless gate bubbles.

This idea is to change this by promoting to use all space, promoting ratting people to move rather to sit in one spot , this will also promote industry , and probably will be good isk and resource sink , as people will have to spend more isk on upgrades and bills, and at the same time they will use more resources to move.

What i propose is binding this sec status ( in case of anomaly spawning ) to player activity.

The more NPC ships killed in a constellation - the higher status.
This will be counted in a 8h cycles , if during this time ( just example , amount to be discussed) in selected systems people kill more than 2k of npc ships , system security status will be increased by 0.1, up to 0.0.
At the same time if for 16h in the system there will be less than 500 NPC ships killed , system sec status will be reduced by -0.1.

This way people will be encouraged to move , and no null sec space will be invaluable.

ummm...move where?

Not sure how alliances you have been in worked but prior alliance for me alliance gave corp say 5 systems. Another corp 5 systems....etc.

You tend to not wander from these. If space you wander to is reserved for later or is someone else's space....you have diplomatic issues to work out.

Just not seeing corp/alliance thrilled about the daily space change list. Corp XYZ your space is these 5 systems over here mon and tues, these 5 systems wed/thurs and these 5 systems Fri/Sat Sun.

A few days of this, no corp would have a clear idea of what their space is and neither would aliance. Rat in space A monday and its all good. Log in again wednesday and its no longer your corp space ergo a problem. .

You also have the issue further off the path you are, the less likey you will get help if asked for. Where you at buddy....answer: some BFE system. How in the hell did you get there? Usually followed by you are sol for being in BFE in the first place.

As unbelievable as it sounds, but I liked the TEST approach: All sov belongs to all alliance members. Blink Yep, this probably leads to all the monkey to clump together in a couple of, in their eyes, high value systems; however, you as a more solitary and more advanced player have so many more systems at your hand that are 0.5-0.9, which are considered worthless by the great unwashed.
There is no need for assigning systems to corps (unless corps want to pay extra for exclusivity of a system/couple of systems). Instead, players should have access to all systems of your alliance's space and if one system is too crowded, they should not yell bloody murder, but wise up and move to a slightly less profitable, but empty system they can practically own.

But that would again require a change in mindset and an advance from the ape-like state (I am probably insulting apes with that statement, apologies for that) of the players to a human-level intelligence and wisdom.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Actually that's one of the points of those changes.
If you are not in industry , you have to move.

The only static in SOV will be ice belts, mining upgrades and moons.
Ofc you can still do anomalies in the 0.0 using proper upgrades, but those still will be anomalies rated for 0.0 system.

Think about this way.
The more rats you kill in a system ... the less there will be to kill.
You have to give them time to rebuild their numbers.

I basically agree with the concept. We should have a way to get people to move around and change how "ratting" "mining" "resource gathering" works. There is no reaons we cannot have waves of resources moving through the galaxy or something that makes those perfect "dead end ratting systems" not be perfect for a while.

This creates a more fluid game and environment where things move around. More change like this forces people to work more and keeps things lively and changing.

I can agree with this. Null sec is far too static and there are many reasons for it, but I think one of the primary motivators is that once an alliance has a good piece of territory for farming isk they have absolutely no motivation to move. All aspects of gameplay currently favor them bottling it up and sitting on it for all eternity, instead of deciding that their neighbor's grass is greener and taking a chomp out of it. The only motivation for moving your sov (not necessarily expanding it) or actively and consistently raiding neighboring sov, is if your alliance has grown beyond what it's borders can hold, and I don't feel an alliance should only have constant growth as the only motivation to try for a change in scenery or a bit of neighborly looting.

It would be a start to get a bit movement in 0.0 Space
