If this is being discussed elsewhere, please direct me there.

On a thread in another post I was made aware of the possibility that CCP is attempting to allow players to create ship skins. Is this true? If so, can it please be implemented with an option I can select so as not to be required to view the ridiculous monstrosities that players will undoubtedly create?

Very scared of this possibility. Please inform me.

At fanfest they showed a fleet skin building tool. So TOP time is going to be about a day and a half and look rather silly.

Ofcouse, the skin system may overtake that, or fade now that free aur is gone.

I've been a raving supporter of all of CCP's efforts, defending the corporation and their judgments in terms of balancing, improvements, and direction. I've promised to remain a player and to continue giving them my money long after the psychopathic whiners and sclerotic myopic old boys have gone. However, if I am ever forced to fight against or alongside a fleet of tie-died battleships or a blob of Donald Duck Heavy Assault Cruisers, I am quitting. Immediately. Right there. Done.

If someone can do any of that with the tool shown I'm impressed; they were showing gradient dragging, lines, stars and the like. If anything it looked like the spore painter with a drag.

But yes, every Russian is flying under a soviet star now, whether they'd like to or not.

I rather only have the ability to move and manipulate patterns than having to see penises or other lovely body holes and parts drawn on ships. Humanity is simply too daft to do proper things with such tools and instead always falls back into pre-childhood denseness.

Besides, the possibilities with the pattern editor shown during Fanfest were impressive enough already.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.
