"The Empires are losing their grip on power..."
- Constant-dying-lady-

Too bad there's no actual connection between these two quotes.

How so.
She delivers the line in the Origins cinematic while the Ever-concerned-close-to-developing-ulcer-from-stress Concord guy watches a screen of rapidly changing soveregnty statuses.

Because it's just "on paper". NullSec empires don't really exist in the game.
Those who conquered it aren't even colonizing it.

It's just empty space with a tag. Everybody can go there and do his own ****,
*Snip* Please refrain from personal attacks. ISD Ezwal.

Just because peopl tag a building it doesn't mean they control it.
If they controlled it, then they would be physically present and doing something.
They aren't. It's just a tag, painted with huge efforts.

Don't immerse yourself in things that don't exist in the games reality.

You'll end up like the poor folk of InterGalactic Summit,
who imagine things that can not even exist in the game.

Sad escapists.

CONCORD hardly has to fear us, they keep on getting buffed by CCP.

Violence is good for business, soon they'll be charging the empires protection fees.

I'm sorry but I gotta say this.

You look like some bad movie villain from a B-rate sci-fi movie from the 80-90's. Like that one dude who dies halfway through The Fifth Element. The kind of bad guy thats so cliche and bad that its awesome.

Just had to point that out.

I think its the shirt... and the hair.

As far as I could find out this is the first time a group of players managed to do this in EvE.
Meaningful or not in the grand scheme of things, I think congratulations are in order !

In anticipation of Eve Legion, there's already a standing contract out for the "liberation" of any planets that fall into the foul clutches of an ISD P

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

To quote CCP Tuxford's joke again ...

When you join EVE, you are at war with everybody ...

... and have to declare PEACE!

It was also commented on here, and yeah it's amazing. I'm really happy.

Akirei it's true NA. is a renter organisation, and where CFC generally hold their sov. as player alliances, N3 has placed most of our sov. in our rental organisation(s), so we will by default have a higher ratio of renter sov. to alliance sov.

A small thing to note is that historically, renter organisations would be owned straight by alliances, so you'd have S2N Citizens, Northern Associates, -A- Citizens, Shadow of xDeathx etc, of which a coalitions renters might combined overtake Amarr as well. The new thing is that N3 combined our rental organisations into one, and that was also the idea that CFC adopted.

I can set you up with some of this prime nullsec sov. After Crius, it's what you want for industry as well.

Thanks for the clarification. Living in a hole and worshiping some guy named bob while chasing off the ancient Japanese ghosts of the previous residents has put me... out of touch with the goings on of EVE.

Good to see a single entity with hard numbers to show that they have surpassed the largest Empire. Never really minded who it would be, but congratulations to Northern Associates for reaching this milestone, even if larger blocs have a greater power projection over null at large.

Good luck to all you empire builders and space tyrants!

Except that they haven't.

All they have is more systems ... but do they have the citizens?

No.

They have empty space nobody really cares about.

There are a lot of citizens. There are also ongoing colonization efforts running outside of empire-space. The population and the level of industrialization is just really, really low compared with the dense civilization of the empires. People are there. Just not enough to be some sort of counterbalance to the empires.
