I am still running 10.6.8

I followed instructions above and launcher is still doing the same thing. The button rolls over to LAUNCHING then after about 10 seconds goes back tho PLAY.

I have cleared the Cache and retried to no avail.


Baltra, not sure if you found a solution to your problem yet but... You might be able to upgrade your OS X 10.6.8 to OS X Maverick (10.9.3) from the App Store for free. There are some requirements regarding how old your hardware (iMac, Macbook, etc.) is.


That will be his only hope as the minimum system requirements were raised as per http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/changes-to-macintosh-minimum-requirements-with-kronos/

If you can't upgrade then you're pretty much going to be SoL

Hy ... this might be and odd question, but have the ranges of systems increased ? I mean the radii of planetary orbits!

The system I am mining in for months now has ranges over 30 AU, even 45+ AU. Where there have been like 5-6 AU I constantly drop out of warp due to depleted capacitor. And I do have almost perfect cap skills on most chars, my miners are all dead in the water now halfway to my bookmarks. The station I am in is brand new from the look, I wonder if that has anything to do with it. On the other hand a shift in ranges due to the add of warp speed mods would be even stranger ... but who knows.

If nobody can observe this .. should I file a bug report for the specific system ?

Really freaks me out .. feels like I imagine things and like going crazy °°

I'm not seeing any new warp visuals or sounds. I cleared my settings and cache and my graphics are set to "Quality" preset with all effects on. Any idea what's going on?

Well if you only observe your warp, you are not supposed to, look at others and you might. Have an alt warp to your location and switch back to wait for him and observe the direction he will be coming from, you should hear the 'pop' and see the ripple effect.

or just stick around a busy gate .. if you still don't get anything, maybe open a ticket, best with system specs.

In case you mean your own engine sound (built up) zoom in a lot.

- FW small plex rats sometimes don't respawn. They should according to the changes.

- the beacon for the 30km decloak field should be hidden since its highly confusing to have something 0km away from your ship on your overview while your ship is moving. And you can't remove it since if you do you remove all plexes from your overview. For example... if you orbit the plex beacon 20k you will land in an 50k orbit while its showing you a 20k orbit.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Two issues today.

First, my Hulk now take three jumps to get from station to gate when it previously made it in a single hop. No Joy.

Second, while doing some scanning found two of the new Guristas sites that were empty, came back through the system about 10 minutes later and they still showed up on scan.

If you have an Ark / Anshar you can take advantage of adaptive nanos. Dead space ones are not so expensive. Use two cargo expanders and one adaptive if you want more tank with out losing more cargo.

Minor Issue

When your auto piloting with UI off. The next stargate bracket is still visible.

Kinda impacts on the immersion. If the Ui is selected to be hidden it should stay hidden

Just a FYI that we are still tracking down the issue with COSMOS site containers not refilling with loot so unfortunately they will still be broken until we nail this down.
As soon as it's fixed we'll get it out to you with the next available update.

can it be that the data sites are now broken? I failed now to hack a data site and the object does not explode (like always) and I can't turn off my Data Analyzer (need to warp out and in again to turn the Data Analyzer offline)

despawning doesn't really seem fixed yet either, some sites despawn in ~1 minute, some are still here after 30 What?
confirming 6/6 empty containers though

The cans in Cosmos archeology sites seem to get refilled after 20 minutes now, cargo scanner shows new stuff but after hacking the can there is nothing when you open the can (even tho the scanner still shows loot inside)

Yeah, some of them work, some of them appear to refill but don't contain anything. This is the issue.
Working on it now, as well as the double failure issue with containers within data and relic sites.
Will keep you all in the loop.

Found 2 sites in low sec with cans that i can't lock and just get the following error

15:02:04 Notify Targeting attempt failed as the designated object is no longer present.

Seems a bit odd >.>

The sites are in Korasen incase a CCP dood wanted to look in the logs :P

found 2 relic sites in 0.0, with one can not opened and not lockable: "Targeting attempt failed as the designated object is no longer present". According to local residents sites were fresh spawned and nobody touched them.

Update:
The issue with Hacking and Archaeology containers not exploding after a double fail has been fixed and will come out tomorrow. (The inability to hack them and the locked analyzer module issues were symptoms of this)
The refilling of the COSMOS containers has been fixed and will be released on Tuesday.

so i just tried to do a relic site, when I tried to blow up the can with two unsuccessful hacking attempts it became unlockable.

Hello,

I am having a MAC issue with the new patch.

1. It is saying "There is a new build available. Would you like to download it now? The build is 17.2 MB in size."
So i enter "yes"

2. Downloading commences but NO status bar progress shows.

3. ERROR = "There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /590158/evepremiumpatch590158-mac.tgz from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158-mac.tgz not found


Do you want to go to support page?

4. I repeated a few times and it says any file downloaded was corrupt or missing.



I am assuming at this point the URL for the patch is bad - or the file is missing / corrupt

please advise

Have you tried running repair.exe directly? Using Launcher to patch has mixed results.
