There is a Porsche dealer across the street. I wonder if they take ISK...

Some of my old corp members (6 that I met and was aware of) worked at a nearby auto dealership.

It would be common there to hear on the loudspeaker:
"Hillbilly to the sales office please"
or
"Crusher to the service desk please"

More current:
ISK received. Thx Tau.

Would any of the investors be against me extending this bond indefinitely? You can cash-out in full at any time after the official end date of May 31.

Reason: it looks like another slow sales month is looming for me. I could sell directly to buy-orders, and pay off the bond, but I'd rather not have to. I also haven't manufactured anywhere near what I had originally planned as a result.

If any investor objects, or doesn't get back to me before the end of this month, I will cash you out in full at the end of this month as originally announced.

Otherwise I'll continue to pay you interest monthly.

Your choice.

Proton Power has told me at least twice he was okay with an extension on his 5b.

Yeah np Tau. I have no current need for more liquid isk. I will let you know if i need it back otherwise keep sending the interest.

I can go either way.
If you want to knock off a small chunk of the bond, send my ISK.
If some of the larger investors need to clear out, then do me later.

I'm lovin the interest payments, and I don't need the original investment atm.
I also totally understand about markets and price changes. Sometimes selling inventory just takes a little more time.

My point is: Do whatever works best for you. It's all good.

I remember that when you was asking for just 20 B and 3 months for a 5% i was very skeptic: i wrote elsewhere, i see a huge congestion in markets (new eden-wise) for standard market approach, yours is a proof of that.

There's a gigantic mount of people making trading, taking lots of pressure on the markets. I experience this in all of the most important hubs.

It takes time (multiple orders update sessions, at least 3 a day, imo), lots of items traded, and high burnout risk.

Anyway, wish you good luck.

You are correct that the market is experiencing a down-turn. It has been for quite some time. However, that doesn't mean there are no profits to be made.

Most importantly, I'm not a trader. I'm a manufacturer. There is a big difference, at least in my opinion. One of the differences is not having to play the 0.01 ISK game.

I also think it is important to follow your post by re-assuring my investors that they can request their ISK be returned today, and it would be back in their wallets in 24 hours.

I'm extremely cautious when it comes to the markets. Paranoid even, and even more so when managing other people's ISK. This is largely the reason why I'm not a trader. I'm investment-risk adverse, especially in long-term investments. Hence the normally short 3 month run of my bonds.

lol, i completely forgot i was posting here :)

First of all, i am completely ok with you, not trolling or trying to.

was just jumping in to express my opinion and maybe trying to get some different point of view. i agree that there is room for profit, but what is changing for ALL the marketing strategies, in my opinion, is the commitment needed. this is to be clear, because very often (it is not your case) people starts claiming that they are CURRENTLY getting superrich by making 10 minutes of jita station trading a day.

i call this .... well, you know :-)

BM

If anyone wants there isk I will buyout there portion. I am liquid enough to buyout entire bond if needed, just need to know :)

Did not even realize i was recieveing the isk, I thought you paid it at end of bond lol.....

If you need more isk let me know as well, I will support waht ever you need up to about 100bil. Your other share holders must be okay with this prior to me transfering the isk so that they understand the risk has went up.

This past weekend, I realized that I had no idea where the markets would go with the industry changes, let alone how I would be continuing to manufacture (i.e. POS or station, or would I have to move systems, etc.) after June 3, only 3 weeks away. There are just too many variables and unknowns.

So I liquidated most of my in-production stock as prices were favourable. I also sold some of my PLEX stash, and some of my T2 BPC, to reach the 20b bond principal amount.

I also threw my BPO into research, hoping to get them to ME 10 by June 3, or at least hoping ME 10 was in-progress before then.

I then had a surprisingly good sales weekend, which added nearly 7b on top of that, and then about 2.8b finished manufacturing and went up for sale. I still have about 13b left in production.

I hate Mondays.

Now comes CCP's announcement of pushing-back industry changes to Crius on July 22 and NOT June 3.

*sigh*

On the bright side, Proton Power helped me realize I was earning nearly 3 times more than I thought I was. Durn spreadsheet errors... and I get to re-do them after July 22.

And here i am starting to dabble in the manufacturing side of things...scary indeed.

And yes, Mondays are not a favourite (unless you are sadistic and like seeing everyone in pain on Monday Twisted )

i too am wondering how my manufacturing habits will need to change.
I am really hoping i won't need a POS as i get by atm without one.

Actually, I am placing some ISK in several investments if you need an additional 10-20-30B just ask.

Interest payments for June have gone out, and principal amounts returned:

Proton Power: 5 billion ISK principal + 250 million ISK interest = 5.25 billion ISK
Vaerah Vahrokha: 5 billion ISK principal + 250 million ISK interest = 5.25 billion ISK
Arancar Australis: 2 billion ISK principal + 100 million ISK interest = 2.1 billion ISK
RavenPaine: 1 billion ISK principal + 50 million ISK interest = 1.05 billion ISK
Mr JLB Matekoni: 5 billion ISK principal + 250 million interest ISK = 5.25 billion ISK
Silvetica Dian: 2 billion ISK principal + 100 million ISK interest = 2.1 billion ISK

This bond has ended. Thank-you to all my investors!

Summary of Bond

  • Total Amount: 20 billion ISK.
  • Duration: 4 months (extended 1 month)
  • Total Interest Paid: 4 billion ISK @ 5% per month [20% overall]

Recently, Proton Power asked me how the bond was going, and whether it was profitable.

I responded that I would be ending the bond, and that I didn't think it was very profitable, but at least it helped me to clear-out my hangars (of materials, components, BPC, and such), which was the goal.

Looking back now, I have to admit I forgot all the things I gained during the bond:

  • Two Rhea jump freighters.
  • Rorqual BPO.
  • Three freighter BPO.
  • Two capital component BPO.
  • A year supply of POS fuel.
  • Max-run BPCs for every ship skin in The New Eden Store.
  • A monocle. [It looks better on an alt, so he wears it.]
  • A fancy suit for another alt. [He was jealous of the monocle.]
  • BPC for a Rorqual ORE Edition [Thanks again Proton Power!]

My OCD demands I complete my BPO collection. "Gotta Catch 'em all!" I think my next goal will be a titan BPO.
