Trial accounts starting war

Hi.

I wonder, if someone will start trial account and get 51 500 000 ISK, can he create a corporation and declare war? I've heard, that war declaration requires 50 millions ISK in the corp wallet, but can a trial account put anything into corporation wallet? There is a certain limitation with money transfer for trials...

it should be possible ... but ... you'd be pretty much worthless in a fight.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

This is not true. I'm not sure if a trial account is technically able to create a corp and wardec people - I seem to remember corp management being one of those restricted skills, but I could be wrong there.

However, it is more than possible to be successful solo-wardeccing people with a character under 14 days old. Just for fun I recently rolled an alt, trained him for two days, then started a corp and wardecced a 40 man corp. All I could fly was a meta fit dual-rep Incursus. I won the war handily. I was blapping Retrievers left and right, and when they came after me with cruisers and destroyers in disorganized fashion, I was able to easily kill those too.

At one point I had 8 guys camped in station with my frigate. This is how risk averse the typical highsec carebear is. All they had to do was get one guy to undock and get aggro, then undock everybody else in literally anything with guns or drones, and they would have been able to easily kill me, but they couldn't get their act together to do even that. Eventually, they did organize a fleet and managed to kill my Incursus with only one loss on their side, at which point I just started with the guerrilla tactics and went after the weak links - the guys out mining solo while everyone else was working together. The war ended after two weeks when they disbanded the corporation. It was lots of fun.

Nope, Corp Management is *not* restricted. Surprised me, too. You can totally do this if your trial character can come up with the ISK.

Would that even matter beyond creating a Corp?

As I understand it, the skills apply only to the creator, once he leaves the skills of his successor won´t matter unless updated or something so a Trial Char should be able to run it without any skills at all?

Not true. Anyone who wants to be CEO is required to have that skill.

As a matter of fact my trial alt does have money and even created a corp. But I fail trying to move money into corp wallet.

Not exactly. I believe this is how it works: when the CEO resigns, he can pick from a list of members who have the proper skills to lead the corp. If there are none, then he can pick from everyone.

This toon (an alt) used to be the CEO of a two-man corp (with my other alt). He surrendered the title to my second alt, who does not have the management skill.
