EVE NEEDS HiDPI support!

I wonder why CCP hasn't allowed us to scale for HiDPI displays. Modern laptops are having increasingly higher-resolution displays, making it far more difficult to play EVE. The Razer Blade, for one, has a 3200 x 1800 display, yet EVE text is so incredibly small even with 150% UI scaling, that it is impossible.

Can CCP introduce 200%, 250%, and 300% scaling? That would really fix the problems with high resolution, high DPI display support.

Alternatly can we get 80% and 70% scaling for those of use who use larger displays but without the huge resolution? Like I have a 40" TV with 1920x1080 and the UI is just a bit large at 90% scalijg.

While I think the scaling option for the UI is a nice feature it would be nice if you could down-scale it a bit more than just the current 90%

Even when I use my 32" TV (1920x1080p) I have no problem with way it looks.. actually it looks better on my TV than it does when I play on my 17" laptop running 1600x900. everything is just too clustered up on lower resolutions.

  • UI scaling: range 70% - 150% - this is what I would propose

  • It is actually very few laptops that can do 1080p or higher, Apple's Macintosh is an exception to this. Most windows laptops is around 1600x900

    @Nyancat Audeles:
    Do you even realize that you can actually increase the font size for the channel ? you should not have a problem, if UI scaling isn't enough then just change the font size... that should solve your problem

    I've done this, but even at max font size and max scaling, its still way too small to read stuff like the overview.

    UI scaling would be far more consistent throughout the app.
