GPU's with 3, 4 and 6gb's of VRAM are becoming pretty common. Fill them to the brim.

Reflective parts of Minmatar ships look nice when passing light sources but on full or close zoom the 'rusty' textures look blocky/pixel-y and fairly terrible. High res texture options would be very welcome.

Don't even care if it's optional. Make it mandatory so we can have it soonest. People with toasters need to find some new bright and shiny object to whine about when they wake up in the morning.

The option to have higher textures would be great.

Back in days it didnt matter that much, but with the machines some of us are "working" with, it would be nice to see how much we actually can get out of eve.



I'm not aware how much support you want before we get it though.... pls just before christmas, maybe 6 months even..

This texture pack sounds awesome.

I'm playing the game at 2560x1440 maxed and my GTX770 2GB barely reaches 60% load (except captains quarters and some foggy sites).

I even enabled Anisotropic 16x and High quality texture filtering in the Geforce driver, hoping for even more detail.

The game is using less than 1GB of VRAM at this resolution.

PS: Regarding the investment in this, there are options that are not used by the majority of players. They are used mostly by the people who pay for 2, 3, 10 accounts and have 3 more monitors. 80–20 rule... put your marketing people to work.

Why so much hate? Even if the people with good PCs get their new textures you will still be able to run EVE on minimal settings on your potato.

Because the old ones wont be deleted? Because there are things like "graphic settings"? Because you can actually choose which ones you want your potato to use?
