For comparative purposes, would it be possible to get the numbers for low- and highsec on the same terms as nullsec (i.e. with frigates excluded as well as pods, shuttles, and rookie ships)?

so if you fight in a rookie ship you fall through the statistic? ;)

what is eve's best rookie ship?
and who is the best rookie?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Just curious!

Will take a look into this, but not something I can get quickly unfortunately.

I would love to see what ships are most popular in each class:

Frigates, Cruisers, HACs, BCs, BS', Interceptors, Carrier, T3 Cruiser etc etc. Can you do that CCP Diagoras? At least some of them please.

Edit: preferably by looking at ships that show up on killmails rather than final blows as the poster above is suggesting.

Unfortunately whilst showing up on killmails is preferable, the tools I have to hand confine me to final blows (but I'm looking into an upgrade there).

Most of those kills were done before your corp even joined AAA and most of those veterans are now in other alliances. ROFLMAO

Well.... I'm no DB guru so I'm limited by what the tools I have let me do, but let's see. I have to do the # of people based on the number of people who have scored final blows (best way I have to judge the number of different PVP participants in each corp). I limited this to alliances which have scored 10,000 final blows or more.

So, taking the number of final blow characters and the number of total kills and then dividing it, gives an average kills per member of: ...

And for corporations, limited to corps with 10,000 kills or more and more than 100 different killers: ...

Both of these exclude rookie ships, capsules and shuttles.

100 members? Sad I'm pretty sure Project Nemesis has more than 10,000 kills, without having 100 unique killers. Is there a way you can expand that downards?

This thread shows how starved people are for reliable PVP data.

How 'bout instead of having an 'ask John Turbefield' thread, we get access to better data through killmails and other logs.

EVE is a lot like 2nd grade. When we compete we don't keep score. Killboard stats are largely meaningless because the data on which they are based is unreliable and insufficient. Reliable and detailed statistics would give a strong incentive for people to PVP. Podmail details is a good, but tiny, step in that direction.

Speaking of horribly insufficient data, bring back the QEN already. And fully disclose any CCP meddling in the in-game economy, especially the PLEX market.

Dear, CCP Diagoras

Could you please show a statistics for what ship types had laid the final blows on Carriers/Dreads/SCs/Ttitans? I would be interesting to see the statistical most feared enemies of our beloved caps and supers :)

And thanks for the statistics, it's nice to read some numbers.
