Guns on Dreads (aka I want a blaster Rev)

It's time to mix them up.

I want to put blasters on a revelation, and see no downside to this. Instead of seeing a fleet composition and knowing what you're going to be up against, it would be a whole new ball game that would made dreads fun again.


Do you think the nag sucks? put different guns on it, and it's relevant again.

Not really a fan of complete mix and matching - but it could be interesting to have secondary race relevant bonuses i.e. phoenix would get hybrid optimal bonus but not a damage bonus to hybrids and so on. (Which might have been taken away from it at some point - never really paid too much attention to it).

You can already put "different" (wrong) guns on a dread. It makes them awful. That's why nobody does it :P

I'm all for a second set of dreads focused on tank and range. If none have a damage bonus, then you can mix and match weapons to your liking. You may not get the range bonus but in some cases that won't matter.

Naglfar a bad dread? Let's see: Best tracking, second best DPS, less ammo usage, no cap needed for shooting, selectable damage types, immense alpha if fitted with artilleries.
