Hello fellow EVE Pilots,

I would like to make a trading tool for my self. I aim to make something similar like the tool of Ritual Union:

Click

I'm testing on a local test environment (XAMPP) different stuff. I managed to run yapeal and get EVE-Central data trough the API on my website. To bad that I have no javascript skills and so I ran into some problems.

I would like to make the same thing with eve-marketdata.com. Unfortunately the XML-structure is a bit different. I used this code for EVE-Central:

2 questions:
Should I use JSON instead of XML which is offered by eve-marketdata.com?
How can I use the getElements with this "rows" of the eve-marketdata xml?

I would recommend using the CREST data instead of evemarket/evecentral.
I moved from those to Crest and I'm rather happy with it as it appears to be less affected by lack of market dump uploads.

So far I didn't consider CREST because I though, the market data is delayed?

I'll take reliable with a delay versus unreliable with no delay.

Or you could build a local application and export (or cache scrape) and get both current and reliable data... there's more than one way to skin a cat, as they say.

... Actually who says that, that's pretty cruel...
