Dear CCP

2 big issues in stations

Direct trade is bugged

a) 2 chars in the same station can't see each other in the Guest List
Sometimes at least one char sees the other but that seems to be random.

b) its really missing to have a trade button when rightclicing a char in the chat (local, corp, fleet)

Funny thing regarding b): once you traded smth i.e. via right click on char in stations "Guest list",
then the submenue "trade" appears also when rightclicking a person in one of the chat windows.

This trade menue should always be there when 2 persons are in station
independend of doing a trade via Guestlist 1st.

log on after dt but only my ship and the station enviroment has loaded, no chat windows, no neocrom, after about a min the rest loads, but every time i put the mouse pointer over my neocrom everything vanishes leaving me with only my ship and the station enviroment, i spend 5 mins looking at the forums to see if its been reported (cant find anything official) and when i go back to game everything seems fine.

Have the same problem and, for now, it can be solved only by undocking character that do not see all guests and dock him back to the station. What a solution Attention

There were a letter and very nice words about focusing on EVE. But if that's all they can do after fousing on EVE (expansion packed with new stuff that's not working and crippling the stuff that does work) then - meh.

Maybe it's the time to close everything and go home.

The added functionality of the jump or dock commands including a warp-to or move-to command should a ship not be close enough to perform the requested manoeuvre is undeniably useful. However, by using the standard buttons and simply adding the new functionality an important signal is being lost: whether you are actually close enough to jump or dock.

A pilot could feasibly be put in danger by decloaking a ship in hostile space and trying to jump through a stargate or wormhole, unaware that he is not close enough to do so because there is no such indication from his controls, by them being greyed-out and unavailable for use or through a warning message tooltip. This problem is compounded by the different distances from which it is possible to activate a stargate compared to a wormhole.

It may clutter the overview to add extra buttons, and add complexity to piloting. Reintroducing the tooltip to warn a pilot that he isn't currently close enough to jump directly may be a good idea. Other solutions could be possible too.

ok, to all the people having problems with disappearing windows:
some of the brightest people at the company have been working on this issue and a fix for it has been checked in. I am not sure when that fix is going out on TQ, but it should be soon (given that it's verified that it fixes the issue). So please be patient Smile

Probably reported already, but if you have a Courier contract, and when undocked, you right click in space in the Pickup/Drop off solar systems, the right click menu item for the Courier contract's station says:

"[no label: UI/Contracts/ContractsService/CourierDeliver]"

Dear CCP

I have an issue with the watch list.

Its very uncomfortably having to adjust the vertical size of a watch list whenever forming a fleet.

I place the watchlist over the chat windows
So whenever I form a fleet I have to re-adjust the size of the watchlist.

And of course can't you please introduce pinnable again ?!

Please follow the general rule of thumb to remember with every window on screen
- size (x,y)
- location on screen (x,y)
- pinned or not

That would be very very nice and make user experience lots better.

There seems to be something broken in probing.

I'm flying an Anathema with sisters probe launcher and sisters probes.
Probing skills are up to 4, so they are pretty good.

I can't lock to any sigs when I'm focused below 4AU.

The sig disappear when I go under 4AU, but as soon as I makes the probe range wider it shows up again.

Anyone have the same problem?

Obvious quip about the brightest people aside. I like this.

Glad that you guys were able to replicate the issue and source a fix.

Dear CCP

I am not sure whether I hit the taste of everybody .. but while looting and salvaging

its often nice and welcome to approach to a gate or a can in some distance

Its IMHO disturbing that the open container button automatically has the functionality to approch
if the container is not in reachable distance

While being impatient when the tractor is doing its work, I hit open container often too early

This has always impact on the course which I set manually

Thats somehow crappy. I persoanlly dislike this.

Could you please discuss and change it back that open cargo is only for opening the cargo and not more,
no approach stuff ...

Otherwise make it somehow switchable ...

I might have overread it in those 36 pages of text but is there a bug that resets the tax rate of POCOs after downtime? Today, all our POCOs had their initial 5% tax rate back, whereas yesterday we manually set each and every one to 0%

I've been able to log on a couple of times in the last week, but mostly I get a black screen in space and now there are not even any UI elements except mail notifications and player login notifications. Stuck in space at the moment and cannot redock. Nice music, but no video.

I've cleared cache multiple times, tried windowed and non-windowed modes. Often the interface will freeze while loading the game, or after player selection. There's a really weird concurrent event that happens only when I try to start EVE in that it shuts down my Windows (tm) Malware applet. Not sure if it will help if I petition this... I'd be happy to supply more info.

Hang in there CCP, we ALL want to see this work, right?

well........downloaded the entire 'offline installer' - Uninstalled prior eve client - deleted ALL the files that the 'Uninstaller' didn't - ran chkdsk(it was ok) - Defragged entire drive - Installed 'offline installer'(no problems) - and started eve(by the way, the option to run eve after install DOESN'T WORK EITHER) - it requested to download 'UPDATE #3' - download got to about 40%-47%, stopped and said 'UNABLE TO INSTALL UPDATE' - tried to log in anywaze and it got to character screen and client restarted -SOOOOOOOO....

1. IS THERE A WAY TO GET THE 'UPDATE #3' WITHOUT USING THE FU**ED UP CLIENT THAT WE ARE SPENDING HRS TO DOWNLOAD????!!!!!
