Deadspace complexes depend on System security Status?

Hello there.

Just started to do some exploration in High sec , and i want to know if security status of the solar sytems affect what level of deadspace complexes will spawn in them

For example, can 5/10 spawn in 0.8 or even 0.9 security sytems ?

no. The highest that can spawn in highsec is a 4/10.

Nullsec, lowsec, highsec, and W-space each have sets of allowable cosmic signatures that can appear there, with some small overlap.

Within these groups, system security status or truesec have no effect.

High sec v low sec v null always is a factor in the quality of anoms.

I believe that the actual implementation method maybe a system list that is a 1 time result of a sec status query, rather than a sec status query, therefore there are some oddities that arose after they added highsec encounters to lowsec. I've never personally seen a serpentis ded1 or ded2 between 0.5 and 0.7 for example in years of serpentis exploration, but the recent changes may have lead that to 2 bands of security systems where they appear - ie some in lowsec and some in 0.8 to 1.0. Again I haven't done them recently, so you'd have to try it yourself.

Also ded complexes can be spawned from most anomolies as an escalation which can put the apparent location of the ded complex in the wrong location. There are some good "den" build up systems in placid that can escalate a 5/10 into nullsec where you wouldn't expect a 5/10 to be - that is fairly easy to replicate.

I believe that there may be a couple of systems that are or have been some inherent map complexity that can fool the escalation system into dropping a ded 5 escalation into highsec, but that is apparently a very rare occurance but the only way you might find that is to find the screen shot of the one on the web, and then work out all the 0.5s and 0.6 systems that are some range (as possibly far as 11 jumps) from there, and clear den anomolies in them, hoping it hasn't been fixed. IMO its easier just to commit to better controlled escalation in lowsec but I presume at least someone has figured it out.

There are still oddities in the escalation system, as I've trigged some 30 escalations from my Vale of the Silent system, and all 30 of them have gone into Geminate (red and neutral space to me), also when completing the multi step escalations, the multisteps have never escalated back to Vale, which is a different outcome to highsec escalations.

That's what the system does, it tries to throw you are place where yo can get killed lol.

Every time I've lived in a region where their were unfriendlies nearby, my escalations would go there. But if I was surrounded by blue space, the result was more random.

For example. My alliance has space in Querious. When -A- was red to us, 9 times out of 10 my escalations would go to Catch (next door). Only a few times would they go to Delve (mostly but not all blue). As SOON as we blued -A-, my escalations started going to Delve except the few that would stay in querious or go to catch.

The fun thing is, is tarted getting 'boomerangs' after we blue'd -A- ie the final part of fleet staging point would pop up near the system i was ratting in after taking me to Devle or catch for the 1st 2 stages lol. It was great :) .
