Erebus description:

Quote:
From the formless void's gaping maw, there springs an entity. Not an entity such as any you can conceive of, nor I; an entity more primordial than the elements themselves, yet constantly coming into existence even as it is destroyed. It is the Child of Chaos, the Pathway to the Next.

The darkness shall swallow the land, and in its wake there will follow a storm, as the appetite of nothing expands over the world.

From the formless void's gaping maw, there springs an entity.

Seems surprisingly similar to the dialogue in the trailer today, actually...

I think what the OP is asking for is to have the cool star graphics apply to stars in-game. I know I'd like to see a blue star like that...

I like it. For one, stars in Eve are super bright, which is fine when you argue that that is in fact realistic. That said, this effect looks strikingly much like a close-up shot of the sun after much of the sunlight has been filtered out using microwave detection rather than traditional visible light. I'd love to see something like this implemented.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

This. While our camera drones are forwarding the information directly into our neural system, and thus there's no danger of burning out our eyes with the intensity, you'd think that they'd still be capable of filtering out the enormous magnitude of light to make visual tactical analysis when in close proximity to a star more effective.

And also prettier, but that's neither here nor there Blink
