Make ship characteristics less archetypal

Seriously, some of these are just insane. This feature is maximum casual in the first place but some of these suggestions either grossly ignore potential roles or flat out suggest things the ship has no bonus to.

The Chremoas is listed as SENSOR DAMPENING, which it cannot really do. (unbonused)

Why is the Machariel shield and not armor? Both are feasible. One is a more common FOTM, nothing more. Same with the vindicator being armor only.
Why is the thanatos armor only when it has a bonus to SHIELD reppers. The Nidhog is listed as both.

So many fun fits aren't even suggested.
Armor scorpion? Shield Domi/Hyperion/Megathron?
Shield Hurricane? Shield thorax?

The Echelon is listed as a HAULER with only 135m^3
The Zephyr is even worse, a hauler with 10m^3
The primae on the other hand has no listed characteristics despite actually being competent at hauling PI stuff. (at least compared to the zephyr)

WTF makes the orca shield tanked? It's clearly hull tanked. Freighters don't have the shield and armor icons.

Attack battlecruisers fail to mention that they primarily use LARGE modules.
Large guns, large plates, large shield extenders. Instead they suggest fitting the medium variants of these?
Logi cruisers are more or less the same way. Only medium thing on them is rigs and prop mod. Though the latter isn't even always true; 100mn cruisers are all the rage these days.

Apparently "cloaky" wasn't even worth mentioning on ANY ship.

The point here is:
Characteristics show no correlation to innate stats.
Characteristics show no correlation to bonuses.
Characteristics show no correlation to slot layout.
Characteristics show no correlation to popular fits.

Exactly where did these labels come from? Eve doesn't have classes. Take them down while I fly my armor widow in protest.

Compared to the other ships with the "hauling" characteristics? At least it has more than 10m^3,

The primae is still about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. If you're in highsec you're better off using a T1 hauler and everywhere else a blockade runner.

Regardless of what the zephyr is listed under it's not a hauler.

Good points. Maybe we should get the CSM to curate these info icons a bit.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

The primae does have one single use.
Kill your alt and sell the killiright on yourself for a stupid amount.
You fit signal amplifiers in the lows and possibly a couple warp stabs. This allows you to sit outside jita and target people with it to get their attention.
Then they notice you have a killright and you're in a primae. They assume you're an idiot. They buy the killright.
You warp out, collect the isk on your alt, rinse repeat. Even if you die you're still netting isk.

do not worry, soon there will be readily fitted ships so you do not have to worry about anything.

Maybe CCP can get the CSM to write some new notes. That will give them something useful to do.
