CCP Diagoras loves numbers and we know a lot of you do as well. We also know that murder and mayhem is dear to your hearts, so to celebrate your love of these things, here´s a bunch of murder statistics from our beloved EVE universe.

Never stop violencing those boats.

Awesome!

Some more fairly interesting stats:

In the top 20 ships for final blow:

Minmatar - 7 / 20
Caldari - 4 / 20
Amarr - 4 / 20
Gallente - 3 / 20
Pirate / Faction - 2 / 20

Ignoring combat drones: the percentages of each racial weapons:
Keep in mind each race can use any weapon types but mostly, don't.

Minmatar (projectiles) - 48.3%
Amarr (lasers) - 21.6%
Gallente (hybrids) - 19%
Caldari (missiles) - 11%

Top 5 weapons of choice:

Minmatar - 3 / 5
Caldari - 1 / 5
Amarr - 1/ 5
Gallente - 0 / 5

I like minmatar, I fly minmatar, minmatar is good. I agree, you agree, CCP agrees!
It's good that people have the maturity not to complain about minmatar being OP.

All these numbers are great but what happen to the quarterly economic newsletter from Dr. Eyjo?

CCP never explained what happened. I think its time to do say something about it.

I understand that might be information in there that is sensitive like the subscriptions numbers, but the rest of it was pretty useful for the community, why not just take out the part you do not want to share and give us the rest instead of these random blogs with statistics left and right with prices indexes and ship number kills...

Unforgiven Storm for CSM 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. (If I don't get in in the next 5 years I will quit trying) :-)

All hail our new overlord Turbofield eehmmm Diagoras I mean!!

Is it possible to get the amount of kill by player density?

Highsec has a lot of kills, but also a much higher population than null or low. Can you divide the kills by player density and show them?

DeBingJos.

edit: Aaah Heavy Pulse Laser II do you ever disappoint my scorching queen?

I would also like to congratulate ANGRY23, for his anger against pods everywhere.

hahaha, awesome devblog.

You know what I find ironic. low-sec has the second most amount of population in the game. it also has the half the kills of null/high sec.

For the amount of ppl in lowsec, we are much busier shooting ppl then the nullbears. I am very very amused.

I has all the eve inactivity

Another great blog :-)

One thing that would be very interesting is the kills per x value

top kills of alliance / number of chars in alliance

High/low/null sec kills per number of high/low/null solar systems

Number of frigs/BC/Cruieser etc kills per number of frigs/BC/Cruieser flown

Number of used ships for killing blow per number of these ships flown

and same for guns

etc...

For some reasons, both the info and the way it was presented made me laugh several times.

Great devblog, very amusing read Big smile

Some non-shockers in the top ten, like rancer and the united topping the lists for pod kills. Interesting to see some lesser-known names I recognize on there, too.

Also funny how many new players are blown up in level 1 missions. Probably close to 30% of the total PVE losses in highsec.

What happens in lowsec, stays in lowsec, lowering the barrier to entry to lowsec PVP: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=476644&#post476644

So, who won Eve? And maybe more importantly who lost Eve?

Fun stats, I'm surprised Drake losses are so high.

Probably because people think drakes are difficult to kill. Roll

more likely because drakes can be lost for free pretty much
get drake, fit, lose it, get insurance, get new drake, repeat X times.
