[Graphics] More immersive roid despawn (disperse with dust/gas cloud)

We have all the pretty "new" explosions and wreck models for capital ships, I would like to see roids and ice rocks not just disappear with into thin air, but rathersdisperse with a cloud of gas/dust and debris.

Like the explosions of this or this or like this.

The same goes for Gas Clouds, which shouldn't just go poof, but get smaller or thinner and fade away.

They slowly faded (got smaller) the more you mine? It was before my time, but I've been told stories. I should add that as well to the first post.

I like the last one for 'roids - and gas clouds should just look "thinner" (less gas in same volume) not "smaller" (less volume)
if these are done - they should be client side effects, to spare the server when a mining op goes down.

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Naturally client-side. For the server they are gone as soon as they are empty, but the graphics should be fancier. And as these effects are put under the Effects check box in the options, they can also be easily disabled for less powerful machines.

As long as I have the option to turn it off. Clouds absolutely kill performance.

That's why I mentioned the new explosions and wrecks, their clouds don't seem to impact performance as much as the old clouds in Anoms/Missions/Plexes. Correct me if I am wrong here.
