Can the folder icons in the game be changed to be a little more inline with the current UI?
The blue folders are too much OSX like: http://i.imgur.com/dntobpv.jpg

Suggest more white/grey colour and similar to the following maybe?

Meh. Take out even more color from the game? CCP already did it with the (i) icon, and I cannot say I like it.

How are you going to discern a black folder icon on black background/white icon on bright background? CCP doesn't seem to be able to have color-switching icons depending on the background, so that's a problem. And if you make the folder icons black-white, what about the other icons and symbols (mods, ships, ammo, etc.)?

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

True, I see your point.
But, they could have a small outline? Black line around white folder, or inverse?

Currently the arrows pointing towards the folders are white/greyish, so why not make the folders in a similar style?

That would be barely visible either on bright backgrounds. Try to set your Window Color to white and check the icons in the chat windows (speech bubble, gear, people). They are barely visible with such a bright background. It is an extreme example and probably not many people use white as Window Color, but it can still cause problems (and I have to admit that I actually like white there Shocked).

Also, wouldn't cause more inconsistency with the side bar if you have all these colored icons and then just a white folder icon?
