Not sure if this idea has been brought up?

However I like the painted unique ships. I think there is room for improvement. I think there could be a slot put under the fittings like a rig slot that you can put a paint/camo mod on. I'm thinking basic type colors and patterns at least for now i.e. Red blue yellow black pink. I think it would add a little bit extra to the game that would make the player base more interested making there ships unique. Reason for rig slot would be once removed it's destroyed. Paint would be only available from faction lp stores. To keep up the lp store sells.

I hope everyone thinks this would be a good idea.

P.S. I want unique paint on caps.

CCP agrees that BPCs aren't the best plan, but currently to add a reskinned ship, the ship has to have an entirely different data entry. That's why they're using BPCs right now, as a test run to gauge interest.
