Name change solution?

I don't want to change my name but I just thought about this. The topic of name changes has come up a bit and I agree with some things on both sides.

What if instead of being able to change a pilot's name you were only able to reallocate that pilot's training to a different character on said account.

Does anyone ever ask themselves the question of Why? before they post something like this? Why would anyone want to change their name or transfer skill points to another character? The only real answer is this: you bought your char and now you want to also buy something which was never for sale - naming rights. It's another one of those "ooh, a shiny game I want to play my way, don't care what it is really about so I'll keep on trying to force my opinion on what I want it to be because so shiny and irresistible and ooh I can buy a character and not actually put any effort in its development but whatthehell is up with the name... not shiny and I want everything shiny and new so I am going to go on the forums and post post post everyone to death until I get my shiny to truly shine for everyone to see my gloriousness is full".

That's EXACTLY the same thing except now instead of simply changing your name, you also wipe your corp history and killboard along with it.

Much better and more in the spirit of eve.
