HELP! POS stuck in Starting up and "Online"

Ok, I'm having day dreams of killing myself while I have been sitting here staring at my POS manage screen trying to figure out why my complex reaction isn't working.

Here is what I'm trying to do...

Complex Reaction - POS1 at LOC1

On the first page, I just diagramed what I wanted. Pretty basic in my mind...

2 simple reactions and a complex.

I have a POS where I'm mining 2 mats (Specifically, Evaporite Deposits (1.1) and Silicates (1.2)) that create a simple reaction (makes Ceramic Powder (1.5) and empty in to a holding silo (1.9)). I have a 2nd POS where I mine 2 other mats (Vanadium and Scandium) that I transport to LOC1 and load in to silos (2.1 and 2.2, respectively) that pipes in to a simple reactor (2.5) make Fernite Alloy and deposits in to holding silo (2.9). From there 2 silos (1.9 and 2.9) pipe in to the complex reactor (3.5) to make Fernite Carbide and finally deposit in to a holding silo (3.9) for pick.

For this part of the process we are only concerned with making the two simple reactions because of CPU issues, so we have the 3.5 and 3.9 objects, anchored but not online.

On Page 2, this is what is happening.

You can see that the Harvesters are stuck in "Online - Starting up". (Following the process). 1.1 and 1.2 are stuck in "Online - Starting up", 2.1 and 2.2 are just "Online" (Which I know is not the right status it should be "Online - Active"). Reactors 1.5 and 2.5 say "Online - Starting up". So nothing is working. I did verify all the linking no problem everything maps out correctly.

I just don't know what to do. I have been googling "Moon Harvester stuck in starting up" and I found in a POS guide that you need to start them in a certain order and I did that, but nothing. Said it could take up to two hrs. I waited. nothing. What's got me is some that just say "online" and others that say "starting up".

Please help and thanks!

"Online - Starting Up" basically means that everything is setup correctly for that reaction, but you either haven't waited an hour or you don't have the materials required for the reaction to run for one cycle.

It could also be that you can't use the output silo for one reaction as the input silo for a second. I ahven't run simple/complex reactions at the same tower, so I'm not sure.

First...those screenshots give eyecancer...bluargh

As Paikis said, tower reactions 'tick' once an hour. So either wait till atleast 2hours have past and have another look if everything works then.

Try this for a setup as you already have a two moon operation:

Moon harvesters from the ED and Silicates go directly into a simple reactor and then into a silo

Have a second silo setup with fernite alloy in it

Run the ceramic powder and the fernite alloy into the complex reactor and the output into a silo

On the other moon, use the same process but import ceramic powder. You consume half the simple reactors output for the complex reactor so you will be able to ferry the extra between the towers so this reaction will be self sustaining once you prime the pump. You will want to pull material and transfer material every eight days or so.

You will need Caldari large towers on both moons for this to woork with 750 cpu left over for defenses

Could you please post a larger image. Try http://eve-files.com/ if you need a place for it [creating an account is optional].

It looks like you have offline:
* Carbide reactor
* Carbide silo
* Silicates silo

I can't read anything else, or check the connections from that image.

Thanks for all the info. Just to follow up with you guys. I opened a ticket with CCP and long story short it's working. They didn't do anything, but it did take 4 hrs for it to tick over.

ugh. Again, thanks for the help!
