Are kill rights going to change the results of Burn Jita?

It seems to me that killrights were not in effect prior to the last burn jita event. If I'm wrong this thread is null and void but if so it seems that killrights could significantly change exactly how effective this event is going to be. I don't think the event will be nearly as successful for goons whereas pvpers will have a hayday.

Thoughts?

Burn Jita is one big docking game. Kill rights won't change that.

AFAIK people use cheap ass suicide alts to kill stuff for events like this.

So i don't think killrights can change something

burn jita 2013 went fine and the game had transferable kill rights then

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration

They were in effect. In fact, I think they had just been introduced at that point, and many of the participants wanted to gather as many as they could.

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

However my suicide alt was just inactive for like 2 months after action.... so no KRs now

When IS it? I just went there, got a freighter and ran it out and was fine, so Im assuming its not yet lol

Yes they were in effect last year and they are easily removed with noobships and alts.

Killrights are a non-factor in BJ3

Killrights wont effect the Burn Jita thing too much for 3 reasons:

- You get a killright AFTER you ganked
- Ganking people will lower your sec status. Since Jita is a 0.9 system and gankees are mostly 5.0 sec dudes, the hit will drop alot of dudes to the point where entering Jita may be a problem
- Exactly how dangerous would you rate a high-sec killright collector compared to dudes who are ganking in Jita?

Burn Jita wasn't that huge last year either. It's about influencing the market really, not about actually burning everything that moves. Same as Hulkageddon was.
