Possible Change - Ship Explosions

I've recently realised that whilst missioning or ratting when I pop a ship from far away you see the little blip, which to me isn't all that exhilirating to see, which is why I use the 'Look At' option to see what they look like as they blow up, but as soon as you kill them, zoooop, your cam comes swinging back to you straight away.

Which is why I'm wondering if it'd be possible that you could add an option (optional, not compulsory) that when you're using the 'Look At' option, that there could be a delay of the camera swinging back to see the explosion of the thing you're looking at, be it a ship or an object.

Not a major change, but more customisable nevertheless.

Or maybe a cinematic kill camera that autozooms to explosions?

But then that makes a focus out of you killing individual ships when lets say you're in a level 4 taking a fair few out.

Perhaps it should only occur when you kill an enemy with a wrecking shot.

i think what they have in the wish list for the 'selected item box' might satisfy.

but who knows if this is all still happening

Better explosions are needed first, but +1 to the idea.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

how about a slow-mo cam for special explosions like you get in skyrim when you chop some dudes head off?

So long as it is a client side graphics option I see no reason to not add it. Though I would want it automatically disabled when local is over 1000, maybe even over 500. Even if it's client side, that many people all seeing those kinds of explosions would eventually lag the game.

I think this is part of the much larger issue that EVE's excellent graphics go mostly unseen. Too often I feel like I'm flying "instruments only" in EVE.

At that point it's no longer slo-mo, it's real time.

I dont see this even mattering until CCP redoes how subcapital wrecks work to be more immersive and splosion pretty (how they wanted capital wrecks animated as they died, but it proved too server intensive with TIDI, if they ever get that worked out it'll be nerdgasms galore next B-R)

once they add more flavorful wrecks, getting abck on track, THEN we might see an option like this, however until then theres nothing really impressive to see.
