Providing wormhole like, system wide effects for large fleet fights

Eve is about spaceships, but more importantly for most is blowing those ships up, and for others it's about blowing them up en mass in a giant battle.

Whether you hunt for these fights, or they grow organically they are a part of Eve and will likely only get bigger as the game grows. The problem with this is that the size of these fights is quickly out pacing the hardware and even the newish TiDi.

So how to help this situation? Wormhole type effects for null sec. That's a little misleading so here's how it would work.

Basically it would work as a background tool most of the time. Just the server checking to see who is in system and what they are doing, thing's it normally has to deal with. But over time if it noticed rapid growth in local space as well as PvP activity and it reaches a certain thresh hold the added ship mass or devastation from the PvP activities of the players could prompt system wide effects.

These effects would be semi random in activation. This could be handled by having varying values for activation IE between 500-1000 pilots, or between 10-500* billion tons mass in system, total missiles in space, total modules activated ect.

Effects could range from gate lock out (still able to leave system but not enter similar to Jita during rush hour), temporary cyno jamming (lore wise it could be that the mass or energy from the ships/weapons doesn't allow for ships to lock on to cynos in system), temporarily disabling titan bridges or other things that would make moving people into or out of a system a bit more of a hassle.

This could be more likely in some systems and less likely in others, it could also have the possibility of being semi controllable by players who own sov by allowing them to build structures that extend the values for effect activation.

I am not entirely sure how these would be spread across space density or security wise however. They could be rolling effects that can affect a system or entire constellation at a time and move on like it's space weather, they could relate permanently to a system or be applied in a way to all systems. Most of it would be in null (where big fights are common) but considering Asakai similar actions might have to be done in LS.

I do realize that this could make some players mad who think it takes away from player actions and choices but I think it would add some kind of terrain to the space we fight in. Besides players could just as easily use these (if they discovered them and they werent random) to their advantage.
