How about a once every couple of years Null Sec SOV Resset. Give the community a few month lead time and then reset all sov in null sec. I believe you will see mass hysteria untill it is all claimed again. Makes for great content.

99% Chance that the existing Blocs would sign treaties, work together to reclaim their existing space and then go back to trying to bankrupt each other.

Id rather have incursions slowly eat away at sov so that when one shows up they have to take it down quickly or risk losing the system. Would make it more interesting then hitting a giant master reset button because then you could disrupt another alliances attempt to stop the incursion to try and get the system to vulnerable.

And what story-line reason would cause this?

How about every other year Null sec and High Sec invert? So suddenly Jita is -0.9 space?

Hows them apples? There is no gameplay reason for Null to reset. All you would end up with is the current major powers re-grabbing all their space and the possibility that the weaker Null Sec areas lose more in the chaos this would create.

I think inverting Null and High Sec would be more fun, interesting, and "Emergent Game-Play". But it too would have no story line reason.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

no.

eve is not the game where magic pixies turn the game upside down for ur amusement. players turn the game upside down for amusement, or profit.

so if u want to create mass hysteria, try making a hulkageddon, burn jita, ice interdiction or other player driven event. or take all sove space and then abandon it urself.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

lolyeahsure because the existing blocs really trust each other. Roll

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

I like the idea, but it seems like it could back fire. Null sec Incursions bring some serious cash. Could end up feeding the massive entities in EVE instead of chipping away at them.

I would say the timer for those incursions would have to be set against the SOV holders best interests. It could also really hurt the smaller guys who are only holding one or two systems who just happen to get stuck with an incursions and don't have the means to fight it.

If they cannot hold sov against an incursion whats stopping players from running them over?
As for the isk of incrusions, the incursions already happen in Sov space so it isn't changing a lot other then making the owners have to react to it rather then it being an automatic cyno jam which in some cases helps protect their sov.

The CFC and PL have been on the opposite side of multiple wars while also maintaining their Moon/Renter agreement. When it comes to a Sov reset they would have a deal in place 24 hours after it was announced.
