the t2 bomb launcher

This thing offers no advantage at all over the t1. There isnt t2 bombs to be launched (thank bob).
So make this t2 launcher turn ur ship into the bomb. U activate it and in certain ammount of time ur ship explodes doing damage. Would require alot of work but damn it would be fun. Bombers as it is are very effective if not op. So there would need to be an overview effect or something to notify everyone that its about to blow up. Cant be used in hs or ls, and locks ship in place like a cyno would make it possible to get away. Same mechanics as bombs were ship is destroyed before the bomb goss off it has no effect.
You could also make t2 bombs but have them similar to a smartbomb. It doesnt explode but rather sits in place cycling and doing damage. would have to be about the same if not less damage than a large smart bomb. Is targetable so ppl can shoot it to get rid of them (low low low hp). Same mechanics as current bombers have.

T2 bomb launchers let you load an additional bomb on your bomber, that coupled with the reduced cooldown is plenty of improvement over the T1 version.

with a 2 minute reactivation delay your dead before u launch the second bomb, u need to warp off after launching one then come back for the second. Theres 15 seconds in the difference, that makes squat of a difference with a long timer. Extra bomb is kinda helpfull if u dont die after the first or second run on the targets

Living through a bombing run is generally very easy to do.

I agree that the T2 Bomb launcher's benefits are somewhat mediocre compared to the training time needed to access them.

One day they may have T2 bombs, and then it will be worthwhile.

Given the limited storage space for bombs in a bomber, being able to load another bomb is pretty significant.

Being able to carry an extra bomb is a huge plus.

Assuming you don't blow up the extra bomb storage can be nice. Puts off a restock visit for however longer.


Would be nice if it did more for the training time involved.

Smaller damage radius for more damage and larger radius for less damage, mod the ehp on the bombs abit to match maybe and tada you have T2 Bombs.

Or better defensed bombs (EHP) so you can have larger bomber wings!. Pack on 50% EHP and you get 50% more dudes in a bomb squad before you start popping your own ****.
