I've recently had a extremely bitter conversation with an individual (and alts?) who is convinced that Brave Newbies have undermined everything he has loved about EVE, and I think they may have ran over his dog too.

This conversation lead me to a few questions and concerns.

+ If one of your alliance mates was a CCP alt, how would you even know?

+ Isn't it a good thing if CCP developers are involved enough in the game to actually play it?

+ Brave Newbies, with no offense intended isn't exactly hurting anyone.

+ Why exactly are these people so upset?

and then to my final point:

Why isn't there an in-game reporting option for people who use trials to badmouth the game to existing players?

This one is fairly relevant because despite their denials nobody in the said handful of CCP bashers were even over a month old.

Could we perhaps limit the effect that trial accounts have upon public channels?

Now with 100% less Troll.

If you limit trial accounts in a way they cant communicate with the rest of the game, you can be sure that almost none of the real new players playing on a trial will sub to the game.

The tool is already gifted to us by CCP, Tom. You click the little X in the top right corner of the chat box and voilà, problem solved.

Question
Are you confusing a ccp alt with a cfc alt? Despite some claims they don't have to be the same Blink
