In the heat of the threadnaught about ER1 and then in the long tread of the CSM "poll", I may have said some things to other players/groups I did NOT mean. I am 100% certified with PTSD/TBI (US Army) and at times I may go off the handle. I am very sorry for things I said in those 2 threads if anyone took offense. thank you all for reading this and understanding

One strategy that can help you avoid flying off the handle is to write the post today, but only submit it tomorrow (and more importantly, never press "submit" within 2 hours of starting a reply :).

The best bit about this strategy is that when you see a hundred new threads saying the same thing over and over, you can sit back and think, "thank goodness I didn't join that spamfest!"

Best wishes for your future, I hope you can get to a place in your life where you have more happy memories than horrific flashbacks.

I recommend spending some quality time with my good friend, Mary Jane. She can keep you nearly symptom-free, if your state offers medical cards specifically for going to visit her.

Big props for being a grown up about it. It's more than I've come to expect on these forums.

No worries man. A lot of people said things in that thread that they realized they didn't mean to say afterwords, but it takes a real man to stand up and admit to it.

Also: Thanks.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

What you said was so terrible, so hurtful, that it hurt my real, out of game emotional feelings, therefore I demand you be banned without warning for the good of space-civilization!

It takes a big man to admit when he's made a mistake and it takes an even bigger man to post an apology on these kind of forums.

Kudos to you!

There's not a single one of us who doesn't sometimes say things we don't really mean in the heat of the moment. No judgement here.

Also, thank you for your service to our country.

Enters thread. Reads OP. Looks at calendar.

Leaves a little more confused than when he came in.

Weve all been there.

At one point or another, we all fly off the handle. It happens. Were only human. Those threads were pretty brutal. Apologizing for it just makes you more human than the rest of us.

No worries, brother.

And at least you have the courage to come forth and admit it.

I too suffer from PTSD (for other reasons, but I can gain greater respect knowing that you served our country), and it is not something that is easily shared with other people, especially faceless people no one really knows anything about.

As for your comments, tensions ran high. That is it. On both sides of the aisle.

While I may be a friend of Ero's, I am continuing on, playing the game, and taking what I learned from Ero to try and create other content within our small communities. Whether it be a new scam, ganking, whatever...the sole reason we are here is to play the game.

Before all else.

Because playing the game is what keeps the game well-oiled and moving forward.

Kudos, OP. I likewise would extend the same apologies to you, if any inflammatory comments . (Tbh, I cannot remember, a lot was going on, especially for forum dudes, lol.)

Anyway, +1.

Much feels.

Such amaze.

Wow.

Shocked

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.
