Not sure if this was posted yet :

Windows Identification doesn't work on log it. You have to uncheck the show windows identification than esc out, than recheck.

Quick question (I didn't feel the need to start a thread):

Are there any examples of hardwiring items (not implants) that give a boost to an attribute, in the way that the Genolution Core Aug. CA-1 does to Perception?

Planetary Interaction: Unable to access high-sec, Concord-owned Customs Office hangars at multiple planets in a .5 system.

Concord is more than willing to tax me for import / export and yet will not allow me to grab stuff from the hangar? Pirate

Seriously, this could be a problem.

Steps to repeat:

1) Jump into the 0.5 system in my Prorator.
2) Warp to a customs office in which I have stuff.
3) Right click on the Concord Customs Office.

All I see is the option to access the CO. There is no option to "Access Hangar." Yes, I am de-cloaked. And, yes, my sec-status is good enough to operate in that system w/o issues from Concord or the local Navy. I have right-clicked everything / everywhere I can think of related to a planet and PI.

What am I missing here?

Orca - Corp Hangar
- Fleet buddys with full access to all hangar arrays get messages like:
--> You cannot put items into the container because it belongs to [character][owner.name] and you are not in ther fleet blablabla
- Fleet buddys can not stable the ice blocks

Also getting some strange messages when i want to order my drones back in the hangar
- to far away blabla
- can not this can not htat blabla
- also have too klick some times on the "scoop to drone bay" button. But one drone stays outside everytime.

The Charackter Editor didn't work very well. Parts of the "top" from the char not loaded in my case today.

But good work. Best Upgrade and rollout since years. Keep it on.

Got the same thing .... hulk pilot couldnt put ore into orca hangar..... happend suddenly... when orca was half full...
And... that stucked jamming notification is still there

A little more on the Orca hold issue. If my miner tries to drop ore on a stack of the same type of ore, I get the "You are not a member of the fleet" message. If I drop it on an empty spot, or a different type of ore, it works fine. It's still a pain because I try to keep the corporate hangers window as small as possible. The only way for a miner to stack ore in the corporate hangers, that I have found, is to use right-click/Stack all. Neither the Orca pilot nor the hauler have a problem with stacking.

There is no longer a hangar view, you can instead drag from the left hand panel of the customs office directly into your cargo.

Everything looks like this to me

(taken with Camera Phone)

RED

Isn't a system issue, 5870 Crossfire running at 54c in game maxed out. It used to happen in the login screen (when you press esc) but since the new expansion it isn't happening in the login screen anymore but in game. It is also happening in space only, the station is fine (I haven't tested the spinning ship mode, heard it happens in there too though) and to fix it you have to alt tab out and back in again every time you leave a station.

11.11 cat (happened on previous drivers versions with the old login screen) cap 2

Once again PC is fine, not overheating and all components are tested and not faulty, this is the only game it is happening in.

There definitely seems to be a problem. The original dev thread indicated high sec Concord owned customs office would double the tax on imports/exports. However, I'm seeing taxes like this and, in the case of basic processed materials, the customs fees are actually more per unit than market prices are per unit (pre Crucible). If this is CCP's intent, there will be massive inflation in the price of all PI related items in the market.

Did someone get the multiplier wrong when they coded it? Perhaps something between 10x and 100x instead of 2x??? Ugh

No, the multipliers are correct. The problem is that under the old system, the tariffs were extremely screwed up across the tiers. P1/P2 tariffs were pretty much ignored by everyone and had zero impact on the market, so people got lazy. Even P3 tariffs were rather small compared to the P4 tariffs.

P0 paid 0.10 ISK/u on products worth 1.50-3.50 (about 2.8% to 6.67%)
P1 paid 0.76 ISK/u on products worth 200-800 (anywhere from 0.095% to 0.38%)
P2 paid 9.00 ISK/u on stuff worth 6k-10k (about 0.09% to 0.15%)
P3 paid 600 ISK/u on stuff worth 35k to 70k (0.86% to 1.7%)
P4 paid 100000 ISK on stuff worth 500k to 1200k (8.3% to 20%)

Under today's prices and the new CONCORD tariffs:

P0 - 10% to 20% effective rate
P1 - 6.7% to 33%
P2 - 7.5% to 17%
P3 - 6% to 11%
P4 - 6% to 12%

That's a much more balanced tariff across the tiers. As the prices of PI rises a bit on the market, those percentages will inch downward.

Basically, the low-priced products in each tier will either have to raise their prices (i.e. P1 products like Biofuels will go from being 110 ISK/u to about 160 ISK/u) or people will just stop making them. For the rest, everyone needs to do their homework and decide whether their existing factory planets still make a profit or whether they need to switch to a different product.

As long as CCP sticks with these tariff rates for long-term (at least 3-6 months), the market will settle out at a new equilibrium (probably within 1-2 weeks). Everyone will make the same margins as before, but people who are willing to deal with the risk of using POCOs (or make friends) will be able to make higher margins.

Planetary Commodities Disappearing:

When taking Planetary Commodities from your planet to the customs office, items would usually come in different stacks (which is normal). Problem however, is that if the items are not stacked, only one stack will transfer and the rest refuse to transfer in to your ships hold, even though there is plenty of room for the items, the error message being "You're too far away to do this", even though I'm at 0m to the customs office.

Second issue is that if you leave those commodities that refused to transfer in the customs office, jump systems, and then go back, the commodities are gone! Yet the commodities that were left there before the update remain. Double checked the planets storage facilities in case they were transferred back, and they weren't. This happened on three different planets.

Any one else having this issue?

Running on Windows 7 64-bit.

UNNERF ISK MAKING
I just read a bit about drone regions. Earning ISK in EVE is still very and enough time consuming depending on your experience, skills and what corp/alliance you joined, where you live. The overall steep learning curve is one big risk for CCP not getting more players and losing players. ISK is essential. Sure, it should not to be too easy but the actual time investment to make a fair amount of ISK for eg. PvP is totally waste of RL time. It can't be the intention of CCP to mess up their player's RL. We need to face this very realistic: EVE is as most of the MMORPG's a very addictive game where it's hard to keep control over your gaming time depending on what you do ingame. You plan to log at 11PM and you end up in bed at 3:30AM again. It's a fine line, I know. If ISK earning is too easy we end up in a non-thrilling Arcade MMORPG. But to me the ISK case is a serious business. CCP should focus on it.

Overall: for such a big patch the deployment schedule and actual issues are a joke compared to former patches. Well done, CCP. Keep up good work. Get more ppl out from reality and you will make history in gaming.

fully agreed Smile

+1 from me.

I can only play a couple of hours a day at most and it is very hard to make a decent amount of ISK. On occasion I get lucky while exploring for NPC hideouts and salvage and loot a commander ship with nice goodies to sell, but I haven't seen a commander ship in weeks.. while exploring/probing is all I do. Mining is also slow and does not earn all that much versus the time it takes + that it is boring. Also doing missions makes just a little amount of LP's and ISK if you like to stay in high sec space, lvl3 and higher forces you to go to low sec systems thus risking your ship that you bought with the little money you have. I'm not interested in PVP thats why I stay in High sec systems, but high sec is really dull and boring *especially without incursions in high sec) and hard to earn some decent money.

EVE somewhat forces you to play like 6 hours a day if you like to have ISK's to spend on better ships etc.

Has this helped anyone else that couldn't get into the game due to corrupt files? Re-posting as I see a few more posts about not be able to update after I posted this.

"I didn't check to see if there was a fix posted but like a lot of people I couldn't get into the game. Here's what I did.

Try the installer (it will most likely fail) The it will ask if you want to repair. Say yes but pay attention to where it is putting the repair file. (mine was C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\nsl2676.tmp) Go there as your repair will probably fail too. Now after your repair Fails and you are in the folder open the Repair.exe there and it should DL and install a fresh copy of eve! You will need a very minor update to play, the DL is about 5.5 GB's and you will have to copy and paste the new install in your Eve install folder but at least you will be able to play. I hope this help!

Alternatively you could just try the Repair.exe in your eve folder and see if that works. Or just copy the Repair.exe from the Temp folder to your eve install folder (for this one you's have to at least start the above process). That may be the best thing to do (you will still have to delete most of the eve files in your eve install folder I think.)"

Fitting or removing modules from a ship at a SMA takes FOR. EV. ER.

There is a very annoying bug with changing your fittings in space from an SMA. Every time you take a module off or put a module on the whole client locks up for about 20seconds. Swapping 3 guns on my ship today took about 2-3mins :(

The eve audio bug, invasion of privacy

I have severe Tourette syndrome (I randomly swear) ever since I downloaded the new stuff it seems my audio stays on longer than I'm pressing the key down

You can imagine my embarrassment when I randomly swear, normally I would just take my finger off the push to talk butten $£^%£ off

I know I'm not the only one with this problem, I would say 35% have the same problem. randomly swear and this has become evident with this bug

It can be reproduced when somebody annoys me and if they don't the audio stays on longer than it should anyway

All my settings are correct

"invasion of privacy" no joke plz help

It's not about how much time you spend doing it's how well you do it I've made 1 bil in about 16 hours of game time. It's about your methods get them right and you don't need to spend loads of time making isk.

The word "stargate" has been unneccesarily duplicated before the name of every system in the right click menu. Guessing this had something to do w/ localization stuff, but please fix. Cool

[edit] Oh, I think the menu is pulling the names from the actual objects in space (the stargate) now. Either way, it needs to be reverted. We don't need:

Stargate>Stargate (Jita)

It looks silly, and why would the actual systems be in parenthesis?
