I will check some issues on SISI later and file bug reports.

Actually I just realized a few issues from my gameplay last night:

DSCAN
The slider shows no scan degree anymore.

WARP JUMP
Should not stay close to the warp button. I see many FC's desparately screaming again and again: DON'T USE THE LEMMINGS BUTTON BY ACCIDENT!

PROBES
Visually still more and less buggy. No green rubberbands.

LOCKING
I locked a target and the lock icon in space was not spinning. It kept static. But this was just one time.

STARMAP
The region name FOUNTAIN (probably other region names, too) will cause small white flickering lines above the typo

FONT
Yes, most of us don't like the new font. There are so many brilliant designed screen-fonts out there especially designed for different operation systems like Windows or OS X. I am wondering why it's not possible to adapt and most important: anti-aliased fonts. It should be a standard today.

But we have to live with the font for now. My wishlist:
- we need a basic font size setting for all chat windows and additionally for the local char list and other windows
- in chat the initial setting is way to small and it's not fun to adjust the font everytime you open a new chat or channel
- when typing at smallest font size the kerning is extremely tight and in chat it's extremely wide what makes it totally hard to read
- in every other window the font is too big atm
- the optimal size I figured out is 2 steps scaling up in chat window (is close to the former style)
- anti-aliased font, honestly!!!

NEBULAES
- the brightness of a nebulae should affect the lighting/shading of all models (some kind of Image Based Lighting if the engine allows this without losing performance)
- btw: all nebulaes look nice, the new space looks more deep-space but keep in mind that nebulaes like this are in false colors and you would never see them like this in space. Well, it's EVE and from artistic pov: well, done
- would be awesome if nebulaes had some depth by using a separate layer above the starfield and when you warp around the nebulae layer moves a bit over the starfield in deep background

CQ
The look and feel of a CQ should be affected by the sec status of the char in low/null. In high they could stay clean and perfect. The command for entering CQ should be: "Disembark".

WINDOWS
When docked my left side windows (local, alliance, corp, channels...) will be moved up. When undocking I have to readjust them. When hitting F11 the windows locked to the right side placed overview should be moved, too. Actually just the windows at the right screen side will be moved.

UNNERF ISK MAKING
I just read a bit about drone regions. Earning ISK in EVE is still very and enough time consuming depending on your experience, skills and what corp/alliance you joined, where you live. The overall steep learning curve is one big risk for CCP not getting more players and losing players. ISK is essential. Sure, it should not to be too easy but the actual time investment to make a fair amount of ISK for eg. PvP is totally waste of RL time. It can't be the intention of CCP to mess up their player's RL. We need to face this very realistic: EVE is as most of the MMORPG's a very addictive game where it's hard to keep control over your gaming time depending on what you do ingame. You plan to log at 11PM and you end up in bed at 3:30AM again. It's a fine line, I know. If ISK earning is too easy we end up in a non-thrilling Arcade MMORPG. But to me the ISK case is a serious business. CCP should focus on it.

Overall: for such a big patch the deployment schedule and actual issues are a joke compared to former patches. Well done, CCP. Keep up good work. Get more ppl out from reality and you will make history in gaming.

1st When I use the assets "search" for results of my mineral buy orders I need the "amount" function returned. I usually search for 10m trit and above filled on my buy orders. With the new search I get nine pages of returns Sad and no idea where to go pick up the next load. The construction pipe line is all of a sudden empty because I can't find the minerals I've already bought. Please let me search for an amount of the mineral I have bought in my assets screen.

2nd, Could we please have the option of using a different font, Shocked such as the one we are using right now? My trifocals do not like the new font and I don't need more eyestrain in my favorite hobby. Cry As someone who uses a large number of different font in my work I admire the effort put into creating a definitive font. However font beauty is definately in the eye of the beholder and my eyes find this one painful. Cool Please give us an option, so those of us with a less artistic eye do not experience pain. Thank you. Bear

I am having display issues since the deployment. I run two clients at the same time but my issue also occurs when i run one at once. If I click on certain icons, all the information panels will sometimes disappear. Only by clicking in the location of where they used to be brings them back into view. Sometimes, all panels will disappear and sometimes just a few will disappear. This behavior usual occurs after certain events e.g. undocking, coming out of planet mode or even opening and closing the cargo bay and locking / unlocking targets.

I have tried using the repair tool and am about to re-install the client. This is such a pity as the rest of the update is great. Is anyone else experiencing this at all??

Fingers crossed that this next client update will fix the issue.

Couple of things....

2. Wrecks that have been looted but not salvaged (because they would disappear) do not show on the overview. Other wrecks show just fine. I tried removing them from the overview and re-adding them but to no avail.

Open Overview settings, go to the first tab, and look at the second sub-tab, "States". If "Wreck already viewed" is un-checked, this is why this is happening. A couple of patches ago in Incarna actually sorta broke that, so they wouldn't disappear if that was unchecked.

I think most of these have been reported, but I have a few additions:

  1. Personal bookmarks. Unsorted in the 'Places' window as noted. Even worse, on the right-click window in space the bookmarks aren't always in the 'Your locations' section at the bottom. I have a bookmark right at the top of that window.
  2. I have also noted that wreck loot windows don't remember their position. Putting a 'loot all' button on the 'object selected' window would be great.
  3. While the 'move to' functionality when trying to loot a wreck is nice, it gets annoying too. If I'm going somewhere and click the 'loot to' window while slightly out of range the ship changes to head for that wreck and forgets the earlier course.
  4. I have also noticed the lack of info in the blueprints window (personal, not corp). In my case the first few BPs showed this info but the rest didn't.
  5. Several people have mentioned issues with guest lists at stations. I've had them updating correctly.

On the positive side:

  • I love the new warping effects, and the updated graphics on some ships.
  • I love the new backgrounds, although I get the feeling they will get too much soonish. (Being able to switch to simple star background via an option would be good for when distractions are bad.)
  • I love a whole lot of the small changes, ESPECIALLY the warp-and-jump one.
  • I like the fact that the corp hangar now seems to stay open in stations when it was left open on leaving.

EVE for a PC.

I have noticed a large lag spike compared to pre-crucible when clicking on a players name and then having it load their information.

Now it seems like the page lags a little, loading the top part and then the bottom part. Before it was much nicer and smoother.

Also with the UI update the chat formatting is all messed up when you show info on ships or mods. Before the description had a very neatly edited paragraph or two and then listed the bonuses with bullet points.

Now all of that is clustered together.

The Font is ugly as hell. I have no idea how someone can like it. It doesn't fit to the boxes...

However... I think this is the most buggy release ever.

Look at my Char?!? How could that happen??

30 ppl out of 200k accounts is 0.015%

1% > 0.015 %

if I you want a % comparison to show the difference between 1% and 0.015%: that's 98.5% of us like the new fonts.

This is not the only thread about the font and it was discussed on SISI local as well. Additionally I have feedback ingame from corp and alliance. Just make a voting poll and you will see.

T2 information warfare link - electronic superiority; bonus on T1 for damps and tracking disruptors is 1.2% T2 is 1.25%. This is a 4% change. Surely an error? shouldn't it have become 1.5% in line with the ecm and target painter bonus which is 2% in T1 and 2.5% in T2, a 25% increase. Or does CCP consider damps and TDs to be overpowered compared to ecm? I must admit, it gets hard to swat aside the hordes of damping arazus we run into whilst I can't remember the last time I saw a falcon. Cry

Hail was supposed to be left with a 25% falloff penalty after Tallest took into consideration matters affecting the hybrid balancing. On TQ it has the original no penalty applied. Another oversight I assume.

Otherwise Crucible is a beautiful expansion, congratulations CCP.

ps. please remember to continue looking at hybrid balancing after this first sweep. Smile

Hi CCP

I have issues with the new font. Its too broad/tall.

This has an ugly impact on the overview and chat windows.

It brings the whole arrangement between windows in space into an imbalance.

Please work on the new font, to make the x/y size the same as in the old font, so that I can keep my current window sizes.

Otherwise I loose too much space on my eve clients screen.

I only have a 1280x1024 monitor and play 2 chars in parallel in window mode.

After this patch it became really worse...

Adjusting Overview Column sizes lead in total to a much too broad overview.

And the text in chat windows - for which I need to use the smallest possible font size - is not good readable anymore.

Please fix this, thanks.

  • Pinned windows aren't pinned! Why can i move them? Shocked
  • The chat line height is broken (refering to the motd for example). If you type a word at the size of 18 followed by new lines with a smaller font size, the line height will be the same as at the larger word (in this case 18) which adds ugly spaces above and below the line with the smaller font size.
  • X
  • In addition to that (motd issues): link something in the motd and append some text in the same line - the text will have the orange color of the link.

I can autopilot across multiple systems and auto dock to a station if I right click in the assets window or Market Window and select Set Destination. But if I use bookmarks for stations it only takes me to the system. If I'm in the system I can right click the bookmark and select Dock so I know the bookmark is for the right location.

I've tried a couple of different ways of making a bookmark but they never seem to allow me to auto-pilot and dock (I can see from the autopilot route thingy that it's not going to work also).

I also noticed this, the bookmarks do not give the advertised features. For instance you can click the overview of a stargate shortcut and it will give the jump option however if you have a shortcut the jump option is not available.

Dear CCP,

the new default graphic settings result in much more stress/heat to the Grafik card.

Could you please review your internal settings, I would prefer to have the same level of noise (very low) as before the patch.

I use the defaults, like i.e. HDR disabled, Anti-aliasing disabled, ...
