My first impulse is to a properly painted, assembled, lighted ship. Unlighted is also ok. Unassembled and unpainted would really limit the appeal.

This is my go-to ship and it has become so sexy after the new overhaul and the new design.. I love it. It feels Minmatar and breathes the way the Minmatar conduct skirmish warfare.

To me, the Vagabond is an iconic ship for both solo-pvp'ers, pirates and Minmatar enthusiasts.

Pre-painted and lit would be my preference, but if unlit then hollow (perhaps a kit) that I could light myself.


Also 1:1 scale, with working warp engines. Big smile

Holy ****, I can't believe I didn't think of the Noctis until now. Make the little thingy in the middle actually spin like the ship does in game and I'd be so happy.

Also, lol at all the people that think this thread is asking about which ships should get new 3D in-game models. Silly people.

Honestly, I would kill for high-quality papercraft kits of EVE ships. They're cheap to manufacture, can have AO or even full lighting baked into the texture for added detail, and look amazing in ambient light. Not to mention the fact that they're great craft projects and a good way for any players with kids to get them involved in their hobby. Given the age of the average EVE player runs higher than the average across all MMOs, and that the average age of MMO gamers has been steadily increasing over the past 5-10 years, I'd venture a guess that there are a lot of players out there with children.

Regarding ships, my top five would just be based on my most commonly used or highly valued ships:

  • Tristan
  • Thorax
  • Dominix
  • Moros (may not be reasonable, given the scale)
  • Zealot

I'm sure a lot of people disagree with me, but I'm going to state this as if it's objectively true anyway:

There is no T1 version of a ship that looks better than its T2 version. Therefore, please make T2 models. Thanks!

Edit: It would also be super cool if you built little neodymium magnets in where the hardpoints are and gave us a little baggie of magnetic turrets of various types to latch on.

The Abaddon

I would like approx the same size as the Apoc model that you sell on the EvE store.

Painted and ready to go from the box, with as much weight and metal cast as possible.

Why the Abaddon... Well it is a truly awesome ship. Compared to the other sub caps there are no other ship who can match the Abaddons beauty, the design is heavy and well thought of.

The detail of is good and it packs what it feels to be Ammarian: Heavy, evil, almost indistructable and with firepower to boot.


I really do love my abaddons (have a small fleet of time of my own :P
