What the hell happened to my Crane?

I'm not a big fan of flying industrial ships for many reasons, but I always had a soft spot for one. The crane. Not only was it nimble and stealthy, but it looked cool. Deep, shiny black contrasted with brilliant red. It's a good color scheme. Agressive.

Now looking through my hangar, I hop into my trusty, sexy Crane and, tampax in the toilet, it's GREY. In fact, it's body is the same grey as the Badger 2, just got different trim.

What happened to my sexy Industrial ship? Why would you roll it in dirt?


EDIT: BTW, with this patch my Biggest complaints are the look of a ship I dont really fly that often, and a problem with patching that's significantly less severe than the last 3 (when I had to download and reinstall Eve). All in all, I am over the moon with this patch and all of you at CCP should all be way too hammered from celebrating to responsibly post on the forums (which means you should post anyway).

I share your pain. Crane is one of my favorite ships, no small part thanks to the paint job. At least it's a very dark shade of grey -- I think I can just maybe live with that. Sad

I'll have much harder time living the the new Gallente shuttles' color scheme. Why CCP, WHY!? Cry

It's the same shade as the Badger II. Compare the two for yourself. It's light grey, and the red's faded. It's an old pair of jeans without the benefit of being so comfortable you forget to take them off to get laid.

I have a pair of tactical shorts that are lucky. But I always have to remove the spare magazine out of the front pouch. Pistol mags dont fair well against skin.

It's that top round. It just has to roll a tiny little bit to grab hair or skin.

Beats getting thigh pinched in the ejection port because it's difficult to rack a slide with one wrist broken, though.

Hey take a quick look at Raven navy Issuer or Scorp Navy Issue if you want to feel better. Now THOSE ships are ugly. MineCraft skin FTL...
