Worlds Collide (Guristas/Serpentis)

I have recently switched agents and as a result I've been getting some Worlds Collide (Guristas/Serpentis) missions.

On the EVE Survival page for this mission, it says that the Supervisors always spawn at the beginning of both the Guristas and Serpentis rooms, however this simply isn't the case for me.

The first time I did this mission I went the Serpentis route first, the Supervisor only spawned in the Serpentis room, the Guristas one didn't spawn when I went back and did that room. The second time I did this mission I went the Guristas route first, and there was no Supervisor in either room.

So either the EVE Survival page is wrong, the mission has changed recently, my missions are bugged, or I'm misinterpreting the info somehow.

Can anyone who has done this mission a lot recently provide me with some concrete answers?

In fact two of the above are correct.

This is the history of faction spawns in this mission (as far as I know - there may have been a few more stages but you'll get the idea)

- Whenever you took the first gate (to either of the two rooms) there was a chance a supervisor would spawn, this led to people killing everything then getting in a fast frigate to cycle through the gates as quickly as possible to cause the spawns
- They never spawned
- They always spawned
- There is a chance of spawn whenever you first enter the room (i.e. the fast frigate method no longer helps)

As far as I know the last in the list is the current state - Eve Survival was probably last updated at the previous state.

The Supervisor always spawn is old info. CCP has "corrected" the spawn mechanic a couple of expansions ago.

They did spawn in the second bullet point, but it was chance based; and they didn't always spawn right off the bat. Sometimes it wouldn't spawn until you had killed everything. I saw cases where our mission salvager was salvaging the rooms we had cleared, and when he entered the second room it would be there.

I wouldn't worry to much about the faction spawn and just farm the Worlds Collide mission. In other words, don't loot the damaged heron, and let the mission reset at downtime so you can do the mission 6 times. The bounties and salvage from that mission is huge. Just run missions for another agent in the meantime.
