Little Thing: up/down shouldn't be different from left/right in space!

I'm flying in space. I click on the void and drag left to spin my ship for some dscanning action. I keep spinning, come right back around to where I started and then keep going.

I'm flying in space. I click on the void and drag down to spin my ship for some dscanning action. I run into an invisible wall where, if I want to dscan a little bit above grade from where I am currently pointed, I need to spin my ship 355 degrees below grade first.

I understand that this might be a tough nut codewise, but I'd really love to see this go away.

Yeah, I've always wanted to be get the camera upside down with respect to my ship, and then have to spend five minutes trying to reverse it.

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

I remember a dev saying a while back that there was no up-down orientation on the early betas of eve but they found it too confusing. I don't necessarily have a problem with it as there is definitely a "top" and "bottom" of the galaxy as it is rather disc shaped.
