What did I miss!?

I entered the Forums today with coffee in hand expecting to see a few tears, one or two good ideas. Maybe a few post from some High Sec Carebears complaining about CODE. or claiming to be victims of our most trusted and honest Jita resident, Erotica1.

None of which happened, or at least not per the usual. It looks more like chaos and rioting. Its not a few tears, but absolute panic from Indy pilots about the latest Dev Blog. Am I to believe that in an every evolving game like Eve, that a few changes to shake things up would cause such frenzied panic! I mean, its not like CCP is giving SOMBER anything for supporting the community this time.

I end with this... -EVERYONE, RELAX! Until the changes come, they are a work in progress. If your cozy nest egg in High Sec gets ruffled, DEAL WITH IT, by ADAPTING to the changes. In other words, get a grip.Lol

You do know that there are minerals in Null Sec, right?

Regardless, I am not a "War Pig". I was once and Indy Pilot until I saw the light. There is no hope for High Sec, NPC Corps, nor should there be. This is the next stage in the Eveolution!

If that were true, highsec being the source of all yadda yadda, then this would be good.

No more supercaps yay?

Are we still anti supercaps?

I lose track.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

19.08.2014 - Dinsdale gets slammed by CCP Falcon. Never forget.

You beat me to it Ralph! Shadowlightt, you would be wise to let that quote sink in. This is exactly why all the PVE, Pure Indy Pilots are in an uproar because High Sec is losing its relevance. The day is coming that Pure carebears will have to venture to low and null to get fat on minerals, and when that day comes, we will be able to hear your screams around the world!

Dalto isn't your nemesis, Friend. If I know Dalto, he is already keeping an eye out for you. This is not the time or place for this though. Back to the original topic.

Every time there is a change in game mechanics, that does not go in favor of the risk adverse, pvers and Industrial Pilots get up in arms. Risk vs ISK, and that is the way it should be. If what you say is true, and High Sec is so safe, then why should you be able to make as much isk as someone in low sec or null? The answer is, You shouldn't. Kudos to CCP for steps in the right direction.

What has this got to do with minerals?

Everything, The fact that the Dev Blog about mission runners and reprocessed minerals is being spun as a "CCP hates High Sec nerf" by none other than High Sec pilots. So, yeah, at the base of any of my statements, outside of that back and forth with Shadowlightt has to do with minerals.

Well I was was referring to the posts in answer to yours which seem to have little to do with minerals.

However, I havent read anything about missions, only the mineral dev blog and I have to say, I dont get how there are people who think this only effects those in high sec. It effects almost everyone in industry and everyone in the Salvage profession.

Though I dont do work (I have a doctor's note) I know plenty of people in WHs and Null who do, and they are not happy with the drop in returns they will receive under this terrible new policy.

Reprocessing is already broken, this makes it far worse and penalises those who DID go to the effort to train their skills properly.

Seems a lot of topics get locked under the "no trolling" clause. Even the ones that are just there for levity and have nothing ot do with trolling. So why bother posting?

Er .. You now have to train Indy skills to create stuff from your meta 1 & 2 loot but mining in quick warp in, two cycles of mining laser and out of the belt to safety becomes a reality.

Next step, remove all rats from belts (they look so dumb even my 5 year old asked why they were in a mining area ... Not mining).

High sec will change but no ones leaving over it. Just people that vest billions in null get to make it back quicker by staying in null.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

To be fair, indy and market tears are easier to harvest than even mission or nullbear tears. Not that I'm in the tear market.

I'm still waiting for the summer post that has some new content...
