So last patch that had came out had taken 2 hours to download and now the newest patch will not download at all continually freezes and fails to download. Not an issue with my ISP and heard others were having the same issues with really slow download for 1gb download. Is there an issue going on with CCP bandwidth atm or a different issue? I would just like to be able to update some skills sometime today and not next week...

I read that the content delivery provider is experiencing issues to some parts of the world.

I don't recall, as I read a lot on several sites. Someone posted the CDN that was being used by CCP, and referred to the CDN's website status page. I never verified it, hence I only stated "I read ...".

That post concerns the 1.3 Rubicon patch. I'm not sure if that is what the OP is referring to.

I just tried launching the game, and got a new EULA popup to scroll through and accept. This was accompanied by a patch 6.0 MB in size. Upon trying to download it, I am informed the file was downloaded, but failed verification and is corrupt.

After attempting to download the patch again I am greeted with this:

There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe not found

Then I am redirected to this url:

http://client.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?n=739267&u=&s=87.237.38.200&protocol=2&intended_platform=win&client_bitcount=32&actual_platform=win&platform_type=desktop&platform_version=6.1&platform_extra=1&platform_bitcount=64&client_fullversion=%208.43.739267&edition=premium&e=Unable%20to%20download%20file%20/590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe%20from%20the%20server.%3Cbr%3EError:%20url%20//cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe%20not%20found

(which is an insanely long URL..)

This page refers to the patch as an "Eve Premium Patch"

Trying to download manually from here simply links me to the page where I get to download the entire game again from scratch.. ( I just updated to Rubicon 1.3 yesterday, and played it with no issues.)

*Edit* Ran the repair tool and it seems to have solved that rather strange issue..I just lazily assumed "Premium Patch" was some reference to the new AUR paint job stuff or something..to be fair I just got off work and attribute my laziness to that.

Used the repair tool and after 3 hours of download for a 1GB patch its fixed. Whatever the issue may be on CCP's end the download bandwidth is absolutely horrid for this patch and the one prior both took way longer than should with my connection. As I had previously had asked is there an issue at CCP right now with there bandwidth for letting us download.....?

Almost acts like your TIDI slipped into the download stream...
