I somehow feel this is an exaggeration, since the total sale price of the whole batch would be under 200m, which would mean that the sale of the items would at most net you 65m, making the markup for fuel over 200%, which it is not. Is this another of the "Ice i mine is free" profit calculations?

if you just count PI taxes from your HiSec PI as costs for your calculations to produce Fuel Blocks, you of course make wonderful profits and won eve Roll
It's like those guys who still produce ships according to the old BPO values. No, I don't talk about stockpiles. I know one of them, but I don't tell him because I like counting the days until he recognise it by himself Twisted

In addition to the Serpentis nullsec regions, the ice belts in the very heavily PvE Drone Regions is Blue Ice. That probably has a lot to do with keeping the supply of Oxygen isotopes high and prices low.

Nullsec Regions:

FWIW, it was either Corestwo or Mynna that once posted something about manipulating Caldari ice / products, since it was in their best interest, as Deklein has Caldari ice.
